A Very Festive Handmade Ornament

Authentique Paper and Helmar are teaming up over the next couple of days to bring you tons of inspiration using Authentique Paper and Helmar products!

After you check out the projects here on the Authentique Paper blog, be sure to head on over to the Helmar blog to find out what the talented members of their Design Team  have in store for you today!

********************
I wanted to show that Helmar can be used for the 'tough to glue' projects, so I made Christmas ornament for the tree - a hot air balloon.

Using a strong, fast drying, liquid adhesive - Helmar 450 Quick Dry - made this easy. When you're gluing around a curve, with a thick textured paper like Authentique, you don't want to have to hold it for ages while it dries!

Some trim and punched elements finished it off.

Secret weapon - toilet paper tube for the 'basket.  Shhhhh - don't tell anyone!

Be sure to check back every day this week for more project inspiration! We have an Authentique Prize Pack to give away to one of our lucky commenters (please leave unique comments!) Also, make sure you stop and visit us as well as our friends over at Helmar for prizes and lots of wonderful inspiration coming your way! Also, make sure you stop by the Helmar Facebook Page and tell them Authentique Paper sent you!

I love this time of the year when I can make hand crafted gifts.  Tags... we all love them and need them to put on gifts.  So, I made this tag gift set...perfect for a little Christmas gift.  What did I use to create this fabulous tag gift set?  Why Authentique and Helmar for course!

Here is what I did and I used the Peaceful and Festive Collections.

I used my Silhouette to cut out the box holding the tags as well as some of the tags.  Hope you liked my project!  Thanks Helmar!

Supplies Used:
Festive Collection: Merry #FES006, Believe #FES003, Yuletide #FES005 and Jolly #FES007
Peaceful Collection: Freeze #PEA001 and Chill #PEA004
Wonder Collection: Excerpts #DW0006

Hello! Loes here to show you some christmas cards and what you can do with the zapdots from Helmar.

Peel off the sticky from the top of the zap dots but let them sit on the sheet. Pour some embossing powder on the sheet and use your heat gun. This gives you extra dimension on your cards or lay-outs.

Here can you see the effect of the embossing powder on the dots,
I added letters from the details sticker sheet.
The Merry & bright I also got from the sticker sheet.

You can use the dots also as the center of flowers as well.

I love the dimension that these dots add to my projects!

This week I bought a new die, needed placecards for the table, and had a handmade holiday blog hop, so the answer was obvious...

Tiny table trees!

These little cuties are made from stacks of "Tattered Snowflakes" created with Sizzix's new Alterations die. I used Helmar's black ZapDots between each snowflake for added height and space between the "branches".

Helmar's 450 Quick Dry is a perfect adhesive to create snow and icicles. It's thick and stringy, so it creates really realistic effects. I dripped the glue up and down the tree then dipped the edges in Diamond Dust. Once it dries it's really sturdy and creates fantastic snow highlights.

The tree trunks are wooden spools covered in twine and tinsel, and a glass bottle of snow flakes. The tags are from the Peaceful sticker embellishments.

Products Used:
"Peaceful" - Authentique Paper
450 Quick Dry and ZapDots - Helmar
Tattered Snowflake Die - Sizzix

Heather Conklin

Hello Authentique fans, Heather here with a couple of ornaments using Helmar and the Festive Collection. For this project, I only used Helmar's Quickfix Adhesive Runner. I wanted to show you that sometimes, you can use dry adhesives in place of wet adhesives like Helmar's 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.

I started with a wooden disc. I used the adhesive runner to make a square on the paper, then cut off the remainder of the paper.
Using a Core'dinations sanding block, I smoothed off the extra edges. Repeat this on the other side if you want a double sided ornament.
To create the decorative hanger of this ornament, I threaded Twinery twine through two buttons, and used the adhesive runner on the inside of the pair of buttons to stick them together.
If you don't have want to have dimensional adhesive show (or add a little sparkle!) use a button to create some dimension. The adhesive sticked wonderfully to both sides of the button.
Then, I added a sticker to the top of it.
I further down the string that is now run through the wooden disc (I used a Crop-A-Dile to punch the holes), I doubled up two of the same stickers.
The finished ornament. Underneath the Jingle Bells sticker is another button. Then a cute bow with May Arts ribbon.
 And the reverse side.
And to finish it off, I added two of the same bling and the adhesive runner.
Here's a little extra ornament to put some holiday treats into. The cone is cut with a Silhouette shape, then another wooden disc has a shaped sticker on it, with another as a little To:/From: tag. And some more May Arts seam binding to finish it off.
I cannot wait to gift both of these ornaments.
Products Used:
Authentique Paper: Festive: Glistening and Believe papers, Details 12x12 and Elements 8x12 stickers
Helmar:  Helmar's Quickfix Adhesive Runner
Other: buttons, bling, Twinery twine, wooden discs, May Arts ribbon, Silhouette?

Getting "Festive" with Authentique Paper & Helmar!

Authentique Paper and Helmar are teaming up over the next couple of days to bring you tons of inspiration using Authentique Paper and Helmar products!

Finding new and unusual ornaments to make is always fun!
This version of the Tear-Drop Ornament can be made in
various sizes and thicknesses, depending upon the type of
papers you choose to use.  For this ornament, I've taken a
half of a sheet of Authentique's
FESTIVE Jolly & Believe papers.
You could also use an entire 12x12 sheet if both sides of
the patterned paper will work with the look you're wanting.
To start, cut six pieces of 4x6 papers
 (three from each pattern).
Next, score (as shown) so that each paper measures 2x6.
Freehand a shape onto the inside of the folded paper.
You may want to practice on scratch paper beforehand or
use a template.  If you have a Cricut or SVG files, you could
use those to make a template...a snowflake shape would also
be cute!
Trim with scissors and then repeat with the next five pieces

of paper. Alternate patterns and glue together with
Helmar's Quick Dry Adhesive;
allow to dry between each layer.
Once you have glued three of the papers together,
add a loop of baker's twine or ribbon to the center and
glue in place.  This will be the hanger, so adjust length as desired.
For my piece, I glittered the Jolly Paper with an
iridescent glitter; allow to dry.  A red jingle bell was
 attached to the bottom point.
I chose one of the Believe patterns as the front, focal point of the
ornament.  Using a "skip every two dots" approach, I added small
adhesive pearls to several of the dots.  I then trimmed out the edge
in a baker's twine.
To create the layered embellishment, I used several stickers
from the Festive Details 12x12 Stickers and
Helmar's Zapdots to add dimension between the pieces.
Punch a 1.5" circle from one of the patterned papers and then, using
a hole punch, create a smaller hole in the center.  Thread your hanger
through the smaller hole and attach the larger circle to the top of
the ornament with Helmar's Quick Dry Adhesive.

Decorate the top with a ribbon bow and a small embellishment.
You're now ready for hanging or gift-giving.
Personalize and date each one to make a one-of-a-kind
keepsake for your family members and friends!
SUPPLIES:
Authentique- Festive: Jolly and Believe Papers; Details 12x12 Sticker Sheet
Helmar- Quick Dry Glue and Zapdots Foam Adhesives

I had so much fun making this project today!
The Helmar Adhesive Runner made placing the pieces so quick and easy.
I needed them to stay in place so I could sew them down and the Adhesive Runner was perfect for the job.

I used LOTS of LOTS of Festive on this project.  Before adhering each piece of paper I inked the edges with my Antique Linen Distress Ink.

I used the Helmar Quick Dry Adhesive for adhering paper to my chipboard house.
I have found this is my 'go-to' adhesive for chipboard.  Love this stuff!

I will be placing this in black 12 X 12 shadow box frame from Michaels!
it will be the perfect addition to my decorations!

Holiday Home Decor with Authentique Paper & Helmar!

Hi everyone Angie Blom here today with some fun
wooden houses I made using the Authentique Peace and Festive collections.

These are just 2x8 and 2x6 pieces of wood my hubby cut into shapes for me.
using your Helmar Decoupage paste you just apply the papers to them.
Then taking some paint , textured paste I added a layer of paint on the front of the houses.
Let dry. Once Dry you can get out whatever fake decorations.. I used some branches, berries, and small findings I had in my stash.  Using my Helmar 450 Quick Dry glue ( love this stuff)
I just layered the branches and berries on , letting the glue dry with every step.

I also made some fun flowers from the Peaceful collection to add that winter flower feel.

Here is a close up of the spiral scalloped flower.
( photo tutorial below)
Then on this one I just added the spiral flower with some glitter to frost them.

Here is a photo tutorial of the scalloped spiral flower.

You can also use this flower on your next layout or card..
it makes a great 3D element to your projects.

Thankful Canvas

Hello Authentique Friends!  JJ here to share a canvas with you, featuring the Thankful collection.  The colours and patterns are perfect for any fall-themed project you want to work on, and I couldn't resist using them with this photo of two people for whom I'm very Thankful.

I started with a 6x6 canvas by Canvas Corp, and added Glimmer Glam, Glimmer mist, and a texture medium, to create the background.  Then it was time to add my Authentique goodies - Details and Elements stickers, and some die-cut papers.  I used a strong adhesive on all the elements (even the stickers) because the canvas was highly textured, and because the canvas wasn't going to be protected in an album like a scrapbook page would be.

Some sentiment stickers from the Elements sheet finished it off.  I used foam adhesive on the quote to give it a little lift.

I hope this makes you want to take out your Thankful collection and play.  Thanks for visiting!

Authentique (Thankful collection):
"Harvest", "Cultivate", "Giving" papers , Details and Elements stickers

Partner products:
6x6 canvas - Canvas Corp
chain - 7 gypsies
glimmer mist, glimmer glam - Tattered Angels
ribbon - May Arts
450 Quick Dry Adhesive - Helmar

I wanted to show how you can take a piece of 2x4 wood, shape it into a house... and then change it into home decor for the season.

  • The black house is the 2x4 piece of wood cut to 1 inch thickness and then cut into a shape of a house.
  • I painted it, then using the Peaceful collection, I pieced the paper to fit the wood piece. Applied with mod podge.
  • Then addi a stencil with some paint and textured paste for that doily effect background. let dry.
  • Make a flower using 6 piece of punched scalloped circles. Cut about 1/2 in towards the middle. Do this for every 3 scallops. Ink it up then pearce a brad in the middle of all 6 and lift up the flower petals.
  • With a 2.5 inch circle, make a spiral flower. Add to the middle of the original flower, add some mod podge to the flower and sprinkle with chunky glitter.
  • Using some christmas wreath decorations, add your red berries, tree branches, and small pinecones.
  •  Last, add some punched leaves, flowers, and flower pearls. Then add the letters on a banner from the Authentique Peaceful 12x8 elements sticker sheet.

Now hop right along, your next stop is The Twinery

Guest Designer- Lynn Shokoples

We are very excited to feature Guest Designer Lynn Shokoples on the blog today! We've seen Lynn's amazing work pop up on our Facebook page and in our monthly challenges, so we were thrilled when she agreed to let us feature her today!
We will leave it to Lynn to tell you a little about herself and her beautiful projects that she has to share  today!

I am so thrilled and honored to be a Guest Designer with Authentique today. I have been scrapbooking for as long as I can remember. I love to document my families journey through my scrapbooking. I remember when I saw the first Authentique collection how taken aback I was with the Detail stickers. I read every one and it truly made me reflect. I love that with each collection, it not only gives you gorgeous papers and details to work with, it really makes you stop and think about your life, your family and why we scrapbook. The collection I'm sharing with you is "Thankful". I just fell in love with the soft muted colors and the sayings. There are so many different ways to use this collection and since I am Canadian, and we have already celebrated our Thanksgiving, I had plenty of family photos to inspire me. Thank you all for letting me share my projects today and sharing a little bit of my story.

I loved the saying on the detail sticker so I wanted to showcase it in the layout. I also used a strip of paper that I had punched my flowers out from my previous project. I love to make things out of paper, so I made some leaves and flowers out of the patterned paper too.

For this layout I wanted to document that we should be Always be Thankful. I loved using the detail stickers for the banner to add a little something extra. I also made some flowers using the papers I used for the layout.

I had just a little of the collection left, and when this happens I want to use every last bit, so a card is a great way to use up those pieces.

When I saw Shellye's project on Earth Friendly Friday I just had to try it. For this I used a 8x10 photo frame and the "Peaceful" collection. For an added effect, I used one of the Detail stickers to pull of some of the color of the photo to give it a vintage look. I'm using this on my counter to write notes for my family.

Be sure to stop by Lynn's personal blog and say hello, and please let her know we sent you!

Also, check out our "We Spy..." board on Pinterest! If we spy fabulous projects using Authentique products, we might just feature you in a future blog post!

All the papers and Embellishments from Authentique's "Thankful" line just reminds me of the classic fall traditions that each of our families have, whether its going to grandmas house for turkey dinner, walking the pumpkin patch for the perfect pumpkin to carve, or just raking the leaves in the back yard. I look at it and immediately think of pumpkin bread cooking in the oven and happy times. This pre-cut kit is ready for all your fall photos, from picking pumpkins at the pumpkin patch, to turkey dinner on Thanksgiving day you could not display your photos in a more beautiful way. The chipboard album has been custom made so you will not find it in any stores. You will love the orange burlap pumpkin on the front cover that is embellished with a beautiful fall sprig. The acorn and leaf pages are bursting with all the Authentique "Thankful" embellishments. This pre-cut kit is ready for you to put together with pictures and detailed instructions.

Traci's Tips:

Tip 1: Use great quality papers like Authentique. When working with paper you can see and feel the difference. When trying to do techniques such as paper rolling or just the basics of distressing the edges of the paper you will find the better the quality of your paper the better your finished project is going to look.

Tip 2: Add texture to your project. Small elements such as fabric, metal, feathers, corrugated board, etc. can change the whole look of your design. Variations of rough and smooth surfaces will give your project life and dimension.

Tip 3: Don't be afraid to try new Techniques. Part of the creative process is doing something new. I love getting lost in a project, when all the troubles and worries of the world fall away because my mind is so consumed in doing something new. The best part is when I can look at what I just created and feel such a satisfaction. There are those times when what I thought I was going to love doesn't turn out how I envisioned but then there is always a sticker or an extra piece of paper to cover up what I don't like.

Tip 4: Group your embellishments. I always group my embellishments to create a focal point. When you have stickers and embellishments floating all over the page it causes the eye not to really focus on any one thing. Making a focal point is the element that pulls in the viewer's eye. I usually do my grouping at the corner of a picture so that it becomes the main focus.

Tip 5: Arrange everything in layers. With so many beautiful papers in one line you need to layer to show them all off. Layer your chipboard and embellishments this brings in Dimension. Layer your stickers using pop dots. When you layer your project becomes so appealing people can't help but want to touch it. Layer, layer and layer.
Tip 6: Ground everything. What I mean by this is many times you will see a page layout with photo's just laying on the page. They all just seem to be floating. By adding horizontal or vertical strips of paper you create a picture surface (a ground) to the images. When you use a ground you create a sense of stability to your photos and to the layout.

Thanks for stopping by today! Don't forget to visit Traci's website and blog and tell her we sent you over!

A "Thankful" Table Setting

With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, a lot of us are usually in a frenzy around this time of year trying to prepare to make everything just perfect for that one big meal with friends and family.

It doesn't have to be that complicated! I'm here today to show you how to get a little jump start on your table setting using the12x8 elements stickers from our "Thankful" collection

First I gathered up my 12x8 stickers, some inks to match, and a "Thankful" 6x6 bundle.

Since we do a lot of "Earth Friendly" projects here on the blog, I wanted to stick with that. I found a couple of empty toilet paper rolls and some cardboard off of a box. I sprayed the toilet paper rolls with some mist to make them shimmer a little.

With the piece of cardboard from the box, I wanted to make an easel type photo stand. Originally, I was going to make this on a wood block, but I didn't have a piece of wood in the size that I needed and this seemed to work out better.

I took the toilet paper roll and put my napkin through it. I used a piece of burlap, no, I'm not actually going to make people wipe their faces with the burlap, but it looked nice for the place setting.

I decorated the toilet paper roll with some "Thankful" paper and stickers and then added some coordinating ribbons.

This was just the beginning!

I ended up making a whole table full of "Thankful" projects, and you can too! All you need is a 6x6 pad and some 12x8 stickers. The sticker sheets have multiples of the same stickers so that you can easily make duplicate name cards and place settings for each person at your table.

I also took a 12x12 sheet of paper and cut it on my Silhouette Cameo to make a decorative place mat.

You can also use the letters on the sticker sheet to personalize each name card on your table.

I made a little decor piece with paper flowers, bamboo skewers, and an empty toilet paper roll for the base.

After it's all over, you will still have some beautiful keepsakes to remember your Thanksgiving dinner for years to come! Not to mention, you could even re-use some of the items for the next year!

Hi Everyone, Angie Blom here with my projects using the Burlap pieces from
Canvas Corp with Authentique Papers Thankful collection.
I know we here in Canada have had our Thanksgiving already.. but it
is also never too late to start different projects for next year.
I made these treat hangers for the kids, Using a free svg file from svg cuts.
It was really easy to put together and these papers look amazing with this
design. Using the Canvas Corp burlap I cut out some banners and added
tabs to  the detailed front of these beautiful Cone ornaments. This would also
be great to put on your plate settings with some treats for the kids and adults.

Then I didn't stop there.. I was on a roll and need to make something more..So I made a Thankful bag.. my thought was this would be a great idea to have pieces of paper for everyone to write what they were thankful for and the date.. then pass the bag around the table .. then after dinner you could read the notes inside.. I just love this idea and will be using it for next year...
Using the large piece of Burlap sheet..
I cut the top of the sheet because it came as two sewn ed together.
so at least most of my bag was already sewn together..
then sewing the top to thread my lace through..
I added some punched papers and sewed and glued the frill to the top of the bag..

Using different shapes of diecutted papers I glued the papers on using Helmar 450 quick dry glue.
I added some Thankful stickers  also adhered with glue.. the small happiness quote I glued on
the small canvas for a popped up effect. I just love how this all turned out..
I am just in love with how you can take burlap and paper and make some extraordinary
useful home projects for the Thanksgiving season. Hope you liked these too.

Janeen Shember

Welcome Authentique fans! Today is my turn to join the fabulous Authentique-Canvas Corp. Blog Hop. I'm so excited to share this project with you today, which literally.....went to the dog!

Daisy is my special Saint. We rescued her in 2005, when she was 18 months old. She had been locked in a backyard for most of her life to that point, with little access to her human family. She came to us just dieing to be loved, and we loved her right back!

She's got the best expressions, and she's such an original. Which means she's perfect for Authentique's "Original Collection".
To create the shadowbox effect, I used the backside of the "Stretched Canvas" and "Stretched Burlap" mini-canvases, and covered the edges with paper and more burlap.
For the roses, I cut a circle of burlap, and used the pre-made "Canvas Minis" circles. I cut a spiral in each and twirled away. The leaves are cut from more burlap, free-hand.
To create the burlap ruffle, I took 1" wide strips cut from a 12x12 "Burlap Fabricpage" and crunched and glued them around the edge of the canvas back.

When I received my box full of great stuff from Canvas Corp, I really have to think what to made with it... after a little time to think... I knew I wanted to make with my photo tray, a big mini album ! I decided to use the "Peaceful" collection because it really looks great in my home, and I made this album for my hubby so I didn't want it to be too feminine!

Here is the front of the album- I covered the whole photo tray and I used pieces of chipboard for the cover. The & sign is a piece of big wood

The inside of my big mini album

I printed directly on the patterned paper

The little stretched canvas is great to use in the tray!

I don't if I've mentioned this before, but my mother in law, she's 86... she makes these beautiful doilies for me all the time! Isn't she great?!

Products used:
Authentique: peaceful collection papers, detail stickers, element stickers
Canvas corp: 7 Gypsies white phototray,canvas minitag,burlap minis flag,stretched canvas,braided rope

Good morning Authentique fans...Guisepppa here, to joining in on the Cavas Corp Hop.  I have only made one other painter's tray before, so when I received this tray from Canvas Corp I was so excited to get crafty.

I used the Thankful Collection and pictures of my family.  I thought this would be perfect because Thanksgiving is coming up and my family is definitely the thing that I am most thankful for.

I love dimension on my projects, so as you can see I created a lot of dimension in all of the windows. Here's a look.

Authentique Supplies: Thankful Collection- Harvest #THA002, Giving #THA006, Pioneer #THA005, Grateful #THA001, Remember #THA003, Cultivate #THA004 and Details #THA007

I received one of the Canvas Corp 12x12 burlap sheets and realized that it would make a perfect background with the Thankful papers.   I added stenciled leaves using Glimmermist in 3 colours:

The canvas tag makes a great layering element, and a neutral spot for my title.  The waxed cotton cord (also Canvas Cord) adds a nice bit of texture.

I die-cut a few shapes from the papers, to add to the stickers, for embellishment.

Authentique papers, letters and stickers from the Thankful collection.

"Be an Original" with Authentique Paper & Canvas Corp

This time of year always has me thinking about
gifts to give for Christmas.  When I received
the beautiful Canvas Corp Painter's Tray, I knew it
would be the perfect gift for my mom filled with pictures
of my kids and beautiful Authentique Original
embellishments!
After printing and placing my photos, I began decorating the
top three panels with Original Papers, Stickers and
die-cut flowers from Original Papers.  For the flowers I used the "Rolled Daisy" die by mftstamps.com.  With Authentique Papers you don't have to worry about flimsy flowers!

From the Canvas Corp Denim Sheets, I hand-cut two large
hearts and backed each one with cotton batting.  I then used
my sewing machine to stitch the two pieces together.  You
could also stitch the denim to a heavy chipboard or felt if
you don't have batting on hand.
I glued the burlap banners from Canvas Corp, directly onto the frame using a fabric glue.  A few thick foam dots were added in places where the banners may bend.
I love digging through years and years worth of stash and finding just the right chipboard letters...these were just the right size for the banners :)  Now we're finished and all ready for gift-giving!
Merry Christmas, Mom!

Supplies: Authentique Paper- Original Secure Paper; Independent Paper and Details 12x12 Stickers

I have to admit, that this cute little decor project started very differently then it ended up. There was a prototype involving stencils, bleach, and a whole lot of messiness. It didn't work. And I am SO happy that it didn't. I loved creating this little piece of denim decor out of Authentique's Original Collection and Canvas Corp products.

To start this project, I stretched one layer (I used a seam-ripper to tear the two sheets apart) of a 12x12 Denim Fabricpage (CVS2196) over a 5x7" flat canvas that I had lying around. I used spray glue to adhere the fabric sheet to the canvas. Before the entire piece of denim was stuck to the canvas, I cut the corners of the denim so that it layed as flat as possible.
The flower is just a Silhouette cut from the Artistic paper, using Memento inks to add more definition on the petals. This could very easily be done without a die cut machine. The scissors are also a Silhouette cut, with a brad that looks like a screw. The perfect addition to make the scissors look more realistic! I then centered the "Keep Calm and Craft On" sentiment under the scissors.
The leaves of the flower are a Jute Mini Rectangle (CVS1159) that has been cut into a petal shape. Since the Rectangle was doubled on itself, I was able to easily get two leaves. I then added a couple of Details sticker and another brad.
To finalize the project, I added faux stitching using my white pen. The stitching added just the little extra to make the denim mimic the Original papers.

Products Used:
Authentique: Original Collection: Artistic paper, Elements & Details stickers
Canvas Corp: 12x12 Denim Fabricpage (CVS2196), Jute Mini Rectangle (CVS1159)
Other Products:Imagine Crafts Memento Ink Espresso Truffle, Aleene's spray glue, 5x7" canvas, brads

A Thankful Canvas

My project today is my first canvas ever!
I can't believe I waited this long!

I started with a 6 X 6 Canvas that I decorated with Authentique Paper's Thankful Collection, Canvas Corps Burlap, and other canvas pieces

I distressed the edges of the canvas  and  layered  a 5 X 5 piece of patterned paper for the background.  Then the fun began!
I then started cutting several leaves from patterned paper, burlap and canvas.
Layered them on using my glue gun.
I added another small canvas for my sentiment.

The flowers were made with some vintage lace that I glued and gathered as I made it into the flower shape. A vintage button finishes them off.

For my mini album, I started with  Authentique's Peaceful and
layers of Lace Dies by Lifestyle Crafts.  Although Peaceful
doesn't  have a hint of blue throughout the collection, I
added a mix of blue Washi Tape #001 by Love My Tapes,
as well as a few felt snowflakes from my stash...I think
that it turned out to be quite lovely!

I created the banner by folding strips of the washi over a length of baker's twine
and then trimmed the ends with pinking sheers.

I used a border of Washi Tape #383 (black/white chevron) on page 2 and
covered a chipboard bird (page 3) in the blue washi tape.

A couple of fun pages using Peaceful!

A little tab created with washi tape on page 6 and again,
borders of washi on page 7.
I love that mini albums are a canvas for special occasions
or events in your life!  I can just picture this one filled
with the first-snow-of-the-season photos!

So, I have really been getting into making mini albums lately.  When I saw the Love My Tapes...I just new I was going to make a mini album.  The tape I used for this project  was #826, #601 and  camera tape.  Let me share with you what I did.

For part of the spine of the mini...I used the white and black polka dot washi tape.  I also made my heart using the using washi tape and around the title.

I used the washi tape as border around the title, around the picture and the leaves for the flower.

I made this cute little pocket to hold a journaling tag.  To seal the edges, I used washi tape.

As you can see on this page, I made some pendants wit the washi tape.

Products used:
Authentique Supplies: Fresh- Crisp #FRE004, Enchanted- Charmed #ENC003, Livley- Bright #LIV004 and Spirited- #LIV001, 6x6 Essentials Collection #BBL002
