Mini Canvas Decor & Tutorial

Headshotsizzix
Hello! It's Tiffany here with a fun tutorial on how to make your own mini canvas decor & believe me, it's quick and SUPER easy!

Mini Canvas Decor:

Materials:

Step 1: After you've chosen your coordinating Gelatos® and Stamper's Big Brush Pen, smear some of the Gelatos® color down onto the blank canvas. (The pink shimmer Gelatos® is from the Metallic Gelatos Kit.)

Step 2: Take a water and a paint brush or your waterbrush and spread the color evenly across the canvas (a little water goes a long way).

Step 3: Take your Stamper's Big Brush Pen (I used Pink Madder) and color the sides of the mini canvas and apply color to your stamp before stamping onto the canvas (I used a fun cityscape from myStamp Box's Neighborhoods set).

Easy Peasy! Now, it's ready for hanging or you can make your mini canvas some friends like I did!

Thanks for dropping by!

Loving these neutrals!

New Image
Hi! Jill here with card created using our Art GRIP® Colored Pencils and Gelatos. I'm really loving the addition of these neutral colors to the line!

The flowers were colored with Art GRIP® Colored Pencils, starting with the lightest color and then layering the darker colors on top. To lightly distress the background, I colored directly onto my paper with a Gelato and then quickly blended the coloring using my fingertip. (All stamps by Penny Black, sentiment by SRM Stickers.)

Feather Earrings

Colleen McGinty shares her beautiful jewelry making techniques using the Stamper's Big Brush Pens:

Hello!

As you probably already know feather jewelry is all the rage.

I stamped these store bought plain feather earring’s with Pitt Artist Pen Big Brush.

Now they are extra fancy, one-of-a-kind, ready for a night out earring’s!

All great achievements...

Don't you love when you are playing with things and it just works?
I was really just trying things,
I was worried for a minute - things looked a little weird
but it all worked out in the end.
It's not perfect and I am tempted to fix it
but I decided it doesn't need to be perfect!
(kinda goes with the quote don't ya think?)
I used a pack of stickers for stencils, then colored the canvas with Gelatos.
I doodled with PITT® Artist pens.
Stamped more images with Stampers Big Brush & the Rubber Cafe stamps.
I did the same thing with the tag then covered it with embossing powder on top.
After I melted it with my heat gun, I bent it so it would crack.
I like this technique because I have no patience to wait for crackle mediums to dry!
I covered the black flower with Oh So Fine glitter.
Supplies:
6x6 canvas, Glitz stickers, Gelatos, PITT® Artist pens, (fine lined and calligraphy)
Stampers Big Brush, 7Gypsies tag, Love my Tapes ribbon,
The Rubber Cafe Stamps.
