WF09 - Text Me Baby!

OK Pea stampers, here's my challenge for WinterFest '09 - create a project using text:

Must have stamping in your project

Must have text - could be stamped, pages from books, newspapers, phone books or magazines, any kind of text (beyond a stamped word, greeting or phrase)

Must use one accessory - ribbon, brads, eyelets, metal framed tags, flowers - anything at all to add a little texture or interest to your project

Cards, ATCs, 3D, scrapbook pages, altered items - anything goes!

Hope you have fun taking on this challenge, the prize will be a collage pack of text from all of the sources named above, plus some Chinese Lai Sie envelopes, map paper, decorative napkins, fake money, raffle tickets - all sorts of collage materials to play with, plus some unmounted stamps.

Link your entry here by selecting this challenge when you post, also post to the stamping message board thread.  The winner will be chosen in a random drawing, your name gets entered once for each project you post to the challenge - include 'WF09 Text Me Baby!' in your gallery titles.  Good luck :)

Military

Original Author: Autumn Parker

Military I am a small and precious child, my dad's been sent to fight... The only place I'll see his face, is in my dreams at night. He will be gone too many days for my young mind to keep track. I may be sad, but I am proud. My daddy's got your back. I am a caring mother. My son may go to war... My mind is filled with worries that I have never known before Every day I try to keep my thoughts from turning black. I may be scared, but I am proud. My son has got your back. I am a strong and loving wife, with a husband soon to go. There are times I'm terrified in a way most never know. I bite my lip, and force a smile as I watch my husband pack... My heart may break, but I am proud. My husbands got your back... I am a soldier, Serving Proudly, standing very tall. I fight for freedom, yours and mine by answering this call. I do my job while knowing, the thanks it sometimes lacks. Say a prayer that I'll come home. It's me who's got your back.

My father

Original Author: Mark Twain

When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished by how much he'd learned in seven years. Mark Twain
