this week's warehouse walk.

lots of new goodies this week...

as posted right before this, i adore these totes.  a-d-o-r-e.  they have so many uses beyond holding your paper crafting supplies.  i'm using the one i snatched up yesterday for my current knitting project.  but the mama in me is thinking how great this would be to hold diapers and other supplies for a baby.  what a cute shower gift, right?

the slice is here!  and all of the accessories and cartridges to go with it.  love the travel tote that they designed to hold it when you'd like to take to a crop.  it looks like a nice piece of luggage.

prima's build a bauble gems and stamps are here - a very cool concept!  you use the stamps as you normally would and then you can fill in the design with the gems of your choice.  so many different looks from just a couple of items.

more amy butler fabulous-ness.  these are photo albums, not scrapbooks.  you know the three up variety?  very cool.  a great way to file away photos that won't me making their way onto a scrapbook page in the very near future.

yep, more new amy butler!  love the back of this patterned paper - so many uses running through my head.

possibly the best kit ever.  as soon as halloween is over, i'll be snagging this kit to decorate the inside of our home.  i'm sure my husband will be thrilled, right?  everything you need to create these great snowflakes in one kit.  those folks at k&co. are super smart.

another from k&co.'s swell noel collection.  die-cut and DOUBLE SIDED mats for your holiday projects.

love that making memories came out with drawers for their embellishment center.  perfect for those little things you want to organize but not necessarily keep out in the open all the time.

fun new stamps from inkadinkado.  love the inchie squares - i'm thinking they'd be great to use on squares of a calendar? - and the great witch on this halloween set.  so intricate! [should be in the store today!]

and last but not least - scenic route's new holiday collection, garland.  so useable - love that they included some of their infamous background papers in their kit.  [should be in the store today!]

yesterday's impulse purchase.

when i saw this tote on the front page of the shopping homepage yesterday, i knew i had to snag one.  i usually wait until i have a full bucket before checking out but i couldn't resist.  i've been needing something new to hold whatever knitting project i'm working with at the time and this definitely fits the bill.  i cam home and immediately put the pieces of the sweater i'm knitting for my daughter in it, along with the book that has the pattern, my needles and scissors.  perfect!  love that the top is open and that it has pockets all the way around to hold all my little knitting goodies.  i'm in love.

it also comes in the faded china colorway - might have to get that one to give as a gift.

this week's new digital kits.

it's tuesday!  that means new digital kits are in the two peas store.  so many great kits from our talented team of digital designers.  here are a few of my favorites :

so loving this kit from cherie mask.  i'm now wanting to wrap all of my gifts in these coordinating papers.  so cute!

you can't ever have enough labels - at least that's why i continue to tell myself!  love the vintage look this label kit from chelsea parsons has.

and really.  these wordart elements have to be the cutest things ever.  EVER.  i'm thinking i might print them out on sticker paper and use them on treat bags for my neighbors.  those little touches you know.  my inner martha shining through.

would love to know what you're liking from this week's digital kits release.  you can view all of the new kits here.

october pea profiles.

yesterday was the 25th which means another round of pea profiles!  it's always a treat to see what people create with the product we send them.  here are a few of my favorites - so many to choose from!  you can see all of the pea profile projects here.

love how sha-sha created a scene of sorts with just a piece of the making memories glitter paper.  perfect for these photos!

if this isn't clever, i don't know what is!  delaney gates used the remanent of the chipboard we sent her to create those great large dots on this page.  a fabulous design with great dimension!

holy handcutting, batman!  the details created by the handcut patterned paper by mom2christopher are absolutely amazing.  i'd want it to be halloween all the time if i might receive a card like this!

this layout by lanarappette is so tactile!  the flocked papers, all the layers...  so much to take in.  and those adorable photos of her children are too much.

another great halloween card, this one from colourful.  love the coloring of the sentiment and of course, the bow.  i'm all about the bow.

another clever idea...  creative*moma used this narratives journaler's handbook as a mini album instead of tearing out the pages to use in a layout.  with the pages already set up for journaling, it's a great idea!

that does it for this month!  stay tuned for next month's pea profiles as we showcase more work from our talented pea community.

i'll take one of each.

when i saw this glitter at cha this summer, i knew i'd finally found a glitter that i might actually use.  love that it's easy to store.  that it's in a smaller amount.  and of course, that it's inexpensive at only $1.99/tube.

now i just need to collect them all.  and figure out a way to keep glitter off of the baby.

would love to hear if you've tried this glitter or what your favorite glitter product is - leave me a comment!

tuesday digital kit release.

you know how new dvds are released each tuesday?  and new music for that manner as well?  the same goes for digital kits and fonts here at two peas.  and as today IS tuesday,  i thought i'd share a few of my favorite digital kits released this week.

two peas digital designer danielle thompson has two kits this week : her skyler digital kit and skyler printable digital kit for paper artists means that nobody is left out!  digital users proceed as normal to use her kit but she also created a separate kit for paper artists which allow them to simply print out the designs for use in their work.  so easy!

love this travel journal kit from rhonna farrer.  your next vacation or travel album couldn't be easier to put together!

and speaking of easy - and for only 99 cents! - kate teague created another template in her temptations collection for you to simply add your photos and papers to.  nice!

halloween class : week 4.

so loving the halloween classes that garden girls rhonna farrer and jennifer pebbles have been hosting on the education board.  such a great mix of inspiring ideas and projects.

this week, rhonna's class is all about creating your own one of a kind t-shirt utilizing some of the great halloween themed digital kits in the two peas store.  i'm thinking i might have to design something for me and then a one of a kind onesie for my daughter - so fun.

you can take a peek at rhonna's class and chat with her on the class message board thread in the education forum.  you'll definitely want to pop your head in as rhonna is giving away some of her newly released product from autumn leaves!  enjoy!

part two of yesterday's warehouse tour.

picking up where we left off yesterday...

love this new calendar line from luxe.  so versatile.  you can never go wrong with a classic black and white color scheme and a time theme.

cute, cute, cute!  more new doodlebug.  these braddies are just adorable.  also in christmas themed as well.  i think the punkins are my favorite.

i want to use this snowflake felt ribbon from queen and co. on all my holiday packages.  what a great finishing touch.  i also told pea1 that i'm going to buy the spiderweb felt and use it as a headband.  that's holiday spirit, i tell ya!

while spying the felt ribbon, i also found these great felt fall leaves from queen and co.  a perfect accent to your fall or halloween projects.  the best part?  they're only $1.99.

great die cut paper from colorbok.  love that speech bubble.  and how fun would it be for photo ops as well?  simply ad your thought, hold it above your head and snap a picture.  makes me think of garden girl kelly purkey...

when i'm walking around the warehouse snapping photos each tuesday, it's fun to hear from the others hanging around what i should show the community.  jamie thought i should share these frames from colorbok as the are LARGE.  like 12x12 large.  kind of a love, elsie type look but a unique look all their own as well.

another fall themed product.  this one from making memories.  love that it includes pumpkins and leaves as blossoms.

these making memories paperie albums are gorgeous!  check out the embossed spines.  love that each color has a different design to it.  you can't see the black so well in the photo - sorry! - but it's a great mod design.  they're 3 ring binders - my favorite! - and they're currently 20% off.

and that concludes this week's warehouse tour... whew!

today's walk through the warehouse.

another tuesday means another walk through the warehouse - so many fun goodies.  both new to the store and new to me.  let the tour begin!

the calendar from the basic grey calendar kit.  love the actual calendar - something i'd totally buy.  and the calendar top for each page is already done for you.  add your photo and some of the included embellishments and - tada! - instant calendar.  kudos to basic grey for putting together such a great product.

new glittery alpha stickers from doodlebug.  love this typeface.  i'll take a sheet of every color, please!

how i adore this spot flocked paper from doodlebug, let me count the ways.  pea1 has a sheet of it framed in her office.  yes, it's that beautiful!  also love the new serenade spot glitter design.

love this adorable 6x6 pack of glittered, flocked and patterned paper from doodlebug.  how easy could making a mini album be with this at hand?

i want to take my circle punch to this hollyberry transparency from art warehouse and just go to town.  so many ways to use just one sheet.  and it's also available in green.

love how this paper in heidi swapp's holiday line is not only double sided, but comes with a coordinating journaling sticker strip as well.  great idea!

this stamp set from kelly panacci is fantastic.  of course the birds and owls are on trend but i love the sentiments as well.  into my cart it goes!

oh how i wish all basic grey papers were double sided like their new wassail holiday collection!  definitely a treat when working on your holiday cards and layouts.

more photos from today's tour coming wednesday...

oh how our garden grows.

in case you didn't notice, three new garden girls have been added to the two peas design team.  such talent and inspiration - our cup runneth over!  without further ado, i'd like to give the new garden girls the introduction they deserve...

jengallacher.  jen has been such an inspiring member of the two peas community - always love catching her work in the gallery.  anybody would be lucky to receive the cards she has been cranking out lately.

julietjoy.  a new digital garden girl.  her stuff is just so darn realistic you have to do a double take to see what's real and what's computer generated.  i've loved her stuff since two peas profiled her in may as a pea profile.

shimelle.  an interational garden girl from across the pond in london.  shimelle is known for her fabulous classes and inspirational ideas.  we're so happy to have her in the garden.  look for classes offered by shimelle in the coming months here at two peas.

i hope that you'll join me in welcoming these three talented artists to the garden!

today's walk through the warehouse.

another tuesday, another walk through the warehouse.

new journaling stickers from making memories.  love those smaller rectangular ones - wish i had a whole sheet of them!  [just arrived - will soon be added to the store!]

new word fetti stickers from making memories.  love that so many of them have space available for writing.  [just arrived - will soon be added to the store!]

new binding ring dangles from 7 gypsies.  so many possibilities to decorate the binding of your albums and mini albums!

new brad multipacks from 7 gypsies.  love that you get a little of each kind instead of having to buy four different packages.

more new making memories.  love these adorable felt paper clips.  too cute.   [just arrived - will soon be added to the store!]

making memories journaling books - they come in different colors per book.  green, blue, red, brown.    [just arrived - will soon be added to the store!]

shimmer alpha stickers from making memories - you know how i love these!  again, these are in brown, blue, green and red.   [just arrived - will soon be added to the store!]

absolutely love how making memories packaged these flowers.  a great little gift - or perhaps stocking suffer?   [just arrived - will soon be added to the store!]

dimensional stickers from making memories - same story as above.  in green, red, blue and brown.  nice that they did the extra work for you of making it three dimensional.   [just arrived - will soon be added to the store!]

gorgeous new flocked papers from 7 gypsies.  something you'd want to frame for your house.  so pretty.

LOVE these alpha stickers from basic grey.  they're huge.  sometimes you just need a big alpha sticker.  these fit the bill perfectly.  also thinking you could use the negative as a mask for painting, etc.

one of my favorite halloween stamps.  if there is such a thing as an elegant spider web, this gets my vote.

some hambly i hadn't noticed yet.  a fun birdcage overlay.  of course i was drawn to the pink.  wondering i could frame this and use as art in my daughter's bathroom?  hmmmm.

last but not least, a fun bicycle paper from hambly.  again, i'd totally frame this one.  love the fun design.

inspired by a garden girl.

this weekend, i was inspired to create something just for fun.  not a layout, but a project to celebrate the upcoming halloween holiday.  as soon as i spied cherie mask's haunted halloween street, i knew i wanted to do something similar.  i purchased that tin of maya road chipboard in may for a different project and still had pieces left over and still sitting on my desk.  this was a perfect use for them!  i painted all of my pieces with the tim holtz/ranger distressed paint to give it an old crackled paint effect and then adhered them down using foam adhesive under parts to give it added dimension.

thanks for the inspiration, cherie!  i love how seeing what you created gave me a jumpstart on creating my own halloween decor.

a new garden.

it's a grey and gloomy day here in peatown.  a perfect kind of afternoon to pull out the halloween oreos - i think this is the fourth package i've gone through? - some milk, and peruse the new garden.  oh how i love new garden days.

that jennifer pebbles...  don't think i've ever met a layout of hers that i didn't like.  love the large titlework here.  it creates such depth just by stacking the individual letters.

love this themed layout from new garden girl, kristina werner.  so clever!  and i can't imagine how time consuming this was.  the end result is so worth her effort though.  love this.

if it contains white and kraft cardstock, it almost always belongs to miss wendy bretz.  love the house she pieced and the simple journaling that she added.

i'd really like to just sit next to loretta grayson as she creates.  i mean, really.  she's amazing.  a-maz-ing.  love how she printed her photo on a transparency for this one.

if i can sit by loretta, i also want to sit by lisa mcgarvey as well.  she mixes product like no other.  so many details to take in.

adorable, coordinating children.  makes my heart melt.  love how joy uzarraga put this together.  love the two pumpkins she tucked under her daughter's photo.

love this layout of shannon tidwell and her new baby girl.  love how i had to do a double take to figure out what she paper pieced as she integrated it so seemlessly into her usual style.

i'm always shopping off of what the garden girls have used in their layouts.  this is no exception.  love how new garden girl robyn werlich used the dot binder paper here as an accent.  so clever!

love this layout from kelly purkey and how she paired the great photo of her house with the paper pieced houses above.  that photo just screams home to me for some reason.  love the depth it adds to her layout.

oh miss joy bohon.  i love ever detail of this layout.  the stitching, the fun papers.  love it all.

yep, i love carters as well.  well, most of the time anyway.  love how amy grendell included the tags off her daughters clothes for this layout.

perfection.  i oooooohed out loud when i saw this the first time.  love how jen johner included that patterned paper strip from cosmo cricket at the bottom of her layout.

love how tracy miller used the banner image to connect all of her photos making it seem like one large panorama shot.  so easy on the eyes!

this layout from chelsea parsons makes me want to go stamp on something to use as a background for my daughter's photos.  unintentional for her photos, but such a great look!

love this swirly design from rebecca trump.  and all the hearts.  she also is a queen of mixing product!

and i love this from kelli crowe.  fun bright colors and titlework that has me wanting to do something similar on my next project.  fun stuff.

so many more projects i could comment on.  like all of them.  but i'm out of oreos so i'll stop here.  can't wait to see what's new in the garden on the 15th.  is it wrong to already be looking forward to the next release?
