a walk through the warehouse.

i love taking a walk through the warehouse with pea1 after we get a bunch of new stuff in.  love seeing all of the latest and greatest.  and then of course it makes me want to go shopping.  here are a few notable things from today's stroll.

new maya road cupcake acrylic stamps.  as if one could ever go wrong with anything cupcake related!

maya road mist.  i put the pink in my order today but have a feeling i'll be back for more.  i'm not usually a fan of raw chipboard but these may have converted me.

me picking through bins.  forgive the sweatshirt, our office is usually chilly although the warehouse is at more of a "normal" temperature.

the new maya road tree embossed chipboard coaster book.  the first tree is embossed, the rest are plain.  love the extra little detail it gives.

maya road cupcake embossed chipboard coaster book.

the maya road owl embossed chipboard coaster book.  so cute!  my daughter's nursery has an owl theme and anytime i see a product with them i feel like i need them.  my husband would disagree with my use of the word "need."

the journaling embossed scroll chipboard coaster album.  love the brackets that are embossed.

the butterfly embossed chipboard coaster album.

the maya road snowflake sheer keychain set.  love the idea of using these as gift tags a la kelli crowe.

some of the papers from the new making memories falala collection.  love that die cut paper in the center.  LOVE it.

kitty's pick for the day.  the cute k&co decorative tree.  again with the cute little owls!

the birds and branches 12" acrylic stamp set from hero arts.  love that they are the same length as a 12x12 sheet of paper.

damask chipboard sheet from maya road.  love that they packaged this in a sheet form so that you can clearly see how to put the damask pattern together.  and the fact that you could use the negative as a mask with their new mists.

great new journaling spiral books from colorbok.

new stamps from inkadinkado - so cute!  love them all.  you just can't go wrong with those cute little birds.  and i love the borderline option on the holiday stamp.

oooooooh.  stickles.  i swear there is a stickle thread each and every day on one of the message boards.

you can't tell that these are glittered in the store, but these glittered garlands from k&co so cute!  thinking i'll need to get the "give thanks" garland for our fireplace for november.  yep, i'm thinking that far ahead already.

somebody's order.  that's a whole lotta paper!  wonder whose home they'll be going to?

orders that have been pulled and are waiting to be packaged to go out.  lots of orders.  i love seeing what people order.  especially seeing what they order together.  sometimes it looks like there might be a method to their madness.  other times not.

typical me.  looking through boxes that just came in the warehouse - here i was checking out some new american crafts goodies.  mcdonald's coke in hand.  and then there is miss lucy by my side.

and that concludes today's warehouse tour - whew!  if there is ever anything you'd love to see up close, let me know.  consider me your personal tour guide.

bookmarks feature update.

thanks to a question by xXxBabiJaexXx earlier this morning, another feature was implemented to help make deleting multiple items in your bookmarks easier. there are two ways to do this :

[1] Check the desired bookmarks, select "Trash" from the drop-down and click "Move Checked".

[2] Click the "Move To Trash" link below each bookmark

To remove items from the Trash, you can either just click "(empty)" which will delete ALL bookmarks in the Trash or click "Delete" below each bookmark they wish to permanently delete. Bookmarks can also be "un-deleted" from the Trash and moved to other folders.

hope that helps and you find this feature useful. thanks as always for letting us know how we can better make site features work for you!

have you seen...? : maya road mist

now i'll be the first to admit that i'm more of  simple type of scrapbooker.  i truly admire all of the techniques and will give any product or technique a whirl. i venture out of my norm on occasion to play with product looking to achieve a specific look but usually revert back to my old ways.  and then while at cha summer, i spied the maya road mist.  so fun!

here's fellow pea, lisa pace, demonstrating the mist.  it's just that, a fine mist of color and sparkle that brings your product to life.  in their make and take, they were using a lace type of cardstock as a mask and then spraying a mist over it.  after removing the mask, she sprayed with a second color of mist to achieve this look :

love the finished look.  love that you don't need any additional tools.  just a bottle of mist and you're imagination and you're good to go.  smart cookies those gals at maya road are - and so nice as well.  you can take a look at all of the colors of maya road mist here.

august guest garden girl.

i've loved looking at the work from the guest garden girl this month, suzyplant.  suzy has so many finishing touches - the theme for this month's garden - i find that i click on her work and then just look at all the little details.

here are some of my favorites from the garden this month, you can take a look at all of her guest garden girl work here through the rest of the month.

i love her mix of products, the placement of everything, the photo - i just love this one.  so many bits and pieces of goodness to take in.

love the picture placement on this one as well as how she tucked the owls into her composition.

the fabulous colors.  the circle element.  the great photos.  yet another that i absolutely love.

kokuyo adhesive now at two peas.

if there's one thing that you always need for a project, it's adhesive.  several of the garden girls have been singing the praises of kokuyo adhesive and now two peas is happy to be carrying it for all of our community!  this adhesive is available in permanent, repositionable and of course refills.  this acid-free micro-dt dry adhesive goes down effortlessly and bonds instantly.  it comes in a roller cartridge dispenser for precise application, even around curves.  you can find all of the kokuyo adhesives here.

did you know...? : layout of the day/deal of the day

did you know that the layout of the day corresponds to the deal of the day?

for example, this is today's layout of the day which can always be found under the designer garden heading above in the drop down menu.

then, if you click on the deal of the day on either the homepage or in the shopping section, you'll see what product is marked down for the day.  today, it's the creative cafe ledger papers.  you'll also be able to tell what the deal of the day is by looking at the product under the layout itself.  we just make it easier to find by putting it in more than one place.

i love being able to see a product in action.  to me, these papers aren't something i'd normally be attracted to right away.  but after seeing how shannon mixed and matched them, i promptly added them to my cart.  love that instant inspiration for the product that's already on sale for the day.

have you seen...? : pea1's summer vacation album

have you seen pea1's summer vacation album?  what a quick and easy project and a great idea for a project to complete for and/or with your kids to document what they've done the past couple of months.  i love these in bloom 4x4 felt albums.  they're such a great canvas and a small enough size that you can toss the finished project in your purse or bag to show off to friends and family whenever you're out and about.  and of course, they fit into a backpack easily as well so your child can have more than a boring 'ol essay to show what they did on summer vacation.
