I was just thinking about this and thought I'd ask here....is there a project that you've done that sticks out in your head as being a favorite? One that came together better than you expected. One that you were able to capture the essence of the photos.
For me it's an album I made about a Jamaica trip. I made it way back in September of 2007 but it's still something I look at regularly.

Do you have a favorite of your own?

My Two Peas Story
In the summer of 2000 I discovered scrapbooking while in the check out lane at Wal-Mart. I found a Scrapbooks Etc and browsed it while I waited. It was like the light to my paper, sticker, and pen heaven. I dove right into the hobby buying up all I could find locally, which wasn't much. So then I turned to my computer and searched for scrapbook stores......and www.twopeasinabucket.com appeared. I believe I joined the 2peas community in September of 2000. I loved posting and browsing the Gallery. At work I would have my browser open to 2peas Gallery just watching layouts getting posted.....and new products added to shopping.:) After work I would change straight into my pajamas and take up camp at my scrapbook table. It was like an addiction...a high. I couldn't wait to get home and scrap. My layouts weren't complete until I had scanned them and posted to the Gallery. Then it was done. One of my biggest first projects was doing a Cancun album from a recent vacation. And once I finished it I made one for my mom too. So it pretty much looked like I was on vacation all the time.:)
Almost exactly a year later I was asked to be a Garden Girl. I was thrilled beyond belief! I think my first Garden was October 2001. My life has changed so much since those first scrapbooking days. I went from being the 'young' scrapper to a 'mother of 3 children scrapper'.:) But 2peas has always been there!

There are so many cool 'painted papers' out there, let's use them! I know for me they can be a little intimidating. All those designs and colors already on there. But they can be fun, just add your own touches to them!!! Make sure to check the little CHALLENGE box when you UPLOAD your layout to the Gallery!

It is filled to the brim with over 150 ideas including layouts, projects, cards, photography tips, and organizational tips from the KI Design Team as well as the Color Theory Contest Finalists! There are two sheets of adorable icon stickers to use throughout your planner to keep you organized and looking cute at the same time! Each month has a patterned divider with a tab. There is plenty of room in the planner to keep you and your family organized as well as your memories preserved. Use it as a journal and a place to stash scrapbook ideas for when you have time to sit down and scrap. It is a sturdy felt 3-ring binder. There are pockets on the inside of each cover. The front window is fully customizable, fill it with a photo or some pretty KI paper and an embellishment. This is a must have item!

Because my boys love looking at pages about themselves. Maddox is so funny, he flips through the books only to slow down when he sees a picture of himself. Five year olds are fun, huh?
And Crew, he's recently taken an interest in photos and my pages. He particularly loved this page I did this month. I'm sure it's because of the football. I had to stop him from pulling the buttons off several times, but that's the fun part.
Here's a link to the layout, and to the Paper Piecing Article.

Happy Holidays and all that good stuff!!
I pretty much love my card this year. I lifted the design from an online site....need to look it up again and find the link....I was so in love with the colors and clean design. But no way could I pay $2.50 a card! So, I made my own. I added some Doodlebug glitter to a few of the dots to the actual cards. This one is just the digital image....so imagine a few sparkles.:)

The past few years I've used a collage of photos from the year. Mostly because I hadn't captured a perfect Christmas card shot. But this year, I got a photo I loved of my naughty little boys.:)

This was a fun release for me. Sometimes you are feeling it and sometimes you aren't. For some reason, despite the length of my to-do list this month, I was feeling scrappy.:) One of my favorites was the Rolodex I made for my dad.....

It felt good to get a couple things checked off my to-do list while working on the Garden this month. I also managed to get our teachers' gifts wrapped in time and made these cute tags to go with them....

Now, let's see if I did this right!
