feedback friday

for the past month or so, i've been hosting brown bag lunches on the education board as a chance for people to chat, ask questions, etc.  because of the busy back to school season and everyone's different schedules, i'm thinking that this might be a better venue for your feedback.  so i introduce to you.... feedback friday.  ta da!

consider this your chance to leave two peas your feedback.  things that you're enjoying, features you'd like to see introduced, ideas for ways to work better for you while visiting the site - whatever.  let us know what you're thinking this friday!

for everyone that leaves feedback, one person will be chosen at random to win some goodies from the warehouse as our way of saying thanks.  we're listening - what do you have to say?

I know you've heard this before, but maybe with L.A. in charge ... hoping ... can we get a chat "room". Speaking from the digi side of the house, a live chat feature would be very helpful for our Tuesday night get-togethers. ~ Kat

we want chat rooms! we want chat rooms!

Seriously, that would make the talks w/the GG's soooo much easier...

Oh, and being able to see the full-size image of something you're leaving a comment on would help in being specific. =)

But other than that I love 2Peas; really enjoy the women who hang out here, and all of you who make it possible to have a great hobby/addiction!

I'm pretty happy here too... one thing that I think might improve the galleries, is if there were a limit on how many layouts can be posted at one time... some websites have this. Maybe 4 or 5 seems reasonable! I really hate it when the gallery is flooded, and some posters have their layouts overlooked. Just a suggestion!
I agree with Heather- chat room would be fabulous!

I like Stef's idea about limiting gallery posts. It is frustrating to see a flooded gallery, especially since it's usually someone who never comments on anyone else's layouts!

I noticed that Debbi T's MB post about challenges was stickied on the GS board. We have started several threads answering FAQs about digi scrapping. Would it be possible to sticky at least one of them to the digi board for easy reference?

I would like to see more stamping companies offered like Unique Boutique. Also, I don't like how the search engine works with shopping. In the recent past, I've put in the name of a very specific product and instead of that coming up I get a bunch of hits for other stuff and have to sift through pages to find the product that I was looking for.

I'd also like to see a chat room feature. I think it would be fun.

I really like this website and that it is great.

Any chance of getting the little Studio G $1 stamps on Two Peas? They are hard to find and it would be great if I could buy the sets here.

Melly, we appreciate your presence on the stamping board. You've already been instrumental in getting glitches fixed making it easier to use the board and the gallery. You're keeping us up to date. I've really enjoyed starofmay's posts and video tutorials on stamping. Without your post on the stamping board introducing the new GG's, I wouldn't have know she was here.

Thank you, Daria

I second Daria's post (djc). We love how you visit us on the stamping board and keep us up to date. I would not have paid attention to the GG's stamping posts and tutorials without your post. I now check out the GGs more often thanks to you.

I have a product recommendation. Since there are (what seems like) millions of posts on ATGs and refill tapes, any chance 2Peas would consider carrying them?

I guess my first comment didn't go through--eeek!
I think I would say that the live chat would be definitely awesome.

I also have a slight problem when I try to access the store. It defaults to price:high to low and even if it's changed, sometimes it seems to revert back to that. It's not a huge deal, but it's something I noticed a while back and have tried on multiple computers/web browsers/operating systems. I haven't honestly checked it lately, so it's probably already taken care of.
:-)

Thanks for the post, and thanks for opening up a forum!

I love 2peas! It's my favorite place to play..

Now, what I could use is a tutorial on how to link the 2peas purchased products that I have used in a layout to the 2peas shopping cart... I have tried it and gotten very frustrated because other 'products' came up and I did not want to search 20 or so pages!

I agree with Scrapgirl. I have tried to link products to my layouts and the search is not that acurate. So I just give up because I don't want to take years finding the product.

I also think it would be nice if as we our uploading our layout we could upload it to more than 1 gallery.

Those are just some thoughts. Thanks for asking!

I'm really enjoying the GG Team Blog- it's just great! Thanks to the GGs for updating it every day.

I'm hoping for more photography tutorials in the future and I'd like some PSE tutorials on editing photos as well as the digital stuff Sande has been doing. :)

Thanks for the opportunity to chime in! One thing I continue to struggle with is the pull-down menu for the message board. (Messages boards >> Forums >> ) It is very touchy and I seem to be very good at messing it up. Daily. ;)

TA DA, Melly! It's 'Daniel'! [definitely the 'odd guy' @ 2Ps--stamping & Pub]
Thanks for the chance to do 'feedback', ma'am!
I really don't have needs per-se, but... I'd welcome 2Ps various teams doing things that address the growth of scrappers/cardmakers etc. going beyond those crafts to find additional creative outlets,

I was just thinking what doodledoo said: the navigation on the boards leaves me frustrated sometimes.

Ooh, and I'd love a chatroom too! :) It's been great having you around Ms. Mellypea :)

I thought of another thing I'd like to see with 2 Peas. I think it would be fun to have "events" for different holidays like Halloween, Valentine's Day. It would be fun to see chats and challenges and fun give aways to celebrate days like that. I'm one of those folks that likes to celebrate different ones like that. LOL

Thanks for the opportunity to give feedback.

I'm loving these comments. Live Chat makes so much sense, limiting layout postings, but the one thing that drives me nuts (and actually leads to me doing less praising) is how hard it is to praise. After you post a comment on a layout that already has a post, you have to click on the layout then click on the gallery and then if you were on a page after one, you have to click on that page. Too many clicks just to say "great layout".

But I really love all the changes I am seeing here, from the blogs, to the challenges, and the classes are a great idea. But most of all the best change is you listening to us :)!!

hey mellypea! I'm a little late to this party, but i wanted to tell you how awesome 2 peas is! it's such a wonderful community! also, one small suggstion: it would be nice when you go to upload a layout, to have check boxes for the various galleries so that you could upload the same layout to multiple galleries at once rather than re-uploading to separate galleries. make sense? thx. =)

I think the new digi challenges are fabulous. The are building such a fun community! I do find navigation on this site in general rather difficult. The fly out menu to the boards causes me grief, too.

And I find that the location of links seems inconsistent. For example, why isn't "My Watch List" hooked up to "My 2Peas" page? It's the thing I use the most!

I often have trouble finding the digi challenge inspiration. Could a link be added to it from the challenge sticky each week? I'm glad this week's inspiration and gallery of challenge entries now comes up when I go to the main menu and choose 'Digital weekly challenge' from the digital menu. That's where I would have expected to find all of the weekly challenges. It would be nice to be able to go back through them there. The only way I've been able to find them is to edit my entry and click on the category there.
I'd like bigger previews of digi kits in the shop. I find it very hard to find what I'm looking for because the previews are small. The best motivator to buy a digi product is when I see it linked as a related product to one of the garden girls' beautiful pages!
Umm. That's probably enough! I love this place, and would love to see it easier to navigate through!

I know it's not friday yet, but I have another issue... I think something needs to be done about the cancellation process. Despite assurances by a wonderful CSR (Jamie) on Thursday that my order would be cancelled and I would be refunded, it appears there is no refund in sight and, worse yet, my order has been shipped. Apparently I'm a victim of the system--and I have to wait to receive the shipment, wait a few more days for it to be returned and then wait a few more days to get the actual refund.
I appreciate the apologies, but I'm not really sure if, at this time, they're really appropriate.
Hope you can help--at least prevent future peas from this issue.
Thanks Melly!
