hello. how was your weekend? any happy crafting time for you? i have been busy crafting...BUT.....it's all for new product so i can't show you quite yet..... he he he. sorry for the tease! 

the girls on the sassafras supers design team have been giddy creating projects with the new collections. apple jack, nerdy bird, and cherry delicious are having fun in their new homes. 

christine middlecamp uses my type - apple jack as her base, and then layers, layers, layers in the amazing christine layering way.....

would you love even more inspiration from leila? each week on her blog she has a step by step tutorial to complete a darling project by friday of each week. this week she is using her october  kenner road kits which just so happened to be bursting with sassafras sweet marmalade beauty. join lilibee in her studio this week, and have fun with a fantastic tutorial!

peg manrique has a few boy projects for us! she has a classy simple style that i find very inspirational! peg starts with a solid base and mixes in lots of pattern by cutting her patterned paper down to not cover her entire page. if you want to mix more patterns into your projects, but prefer a simple style, give peg's method a try.

i would love to hear your tips and techniques! what little trick would you be willing to share with your fellow sassafras pals that will help make their paper crafting times even more fun and productive? last week birgit shared the tip of placing your letter stickers on a transparent ruler before adhering them on your project. this tip allows you to move your letters around to decide the perfect placement before sticking them on permanently! pretty cool, huh?
