  JenMartakisFramed
Hi! My name is Jen Martakis. I have been married to my best friend Nick for 15 years. We have 5 boys ages 18, 15, 12, 9 and 3. We live in Indiana right across the street from a corn field. ;)

Q: How long have you been scrapbooking?
A: I have been scrapbooking 12 years now. I was accepted on my first design team in 2004 and my very first publication was in 2005.

Q: What are some goals you have for yourself, scrap-related or personal?
A: Scrap-related - I would love to create my own paper line. I am a digital kit designer and would love to take it a step further.

Q: If someone was to walk into your scrap room/area right now, what would they find?
A: A room FULL of stuff. I love supplies and you can tell. I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to my scrap stuff. I don't think I have ever "purged" my stash. So yes....you could find all sorts of goodies if you dug deep enough. ;)

Q: What do you listen to or watch while scrapbooking?
A: Nothing. I need it quiet to scrap. It seems I'm in the minority on this but I guess it has to do with having such a house full. I love my quiet time.

Q: What time of day do you usually scrapbook and where?
A: I have a scraproom right off of my kitchen. I scrap during the week, usually when the kids are in school and my husband is at work.

Q: What are some other hobbies you enjoy?
A: I love to read. My favorite author is Patricia Cornwell. Last year my husband bought me a Kindle for Mother's Day and I absolutely love it.

Q: Share something quirky about yourself.
A: I have quite a few quirks. I am claustrophobic, so bad that I can't ride in the car without the window cracked. I sleep with 8 pillows. I can not stand the texture of frosted glass, sand or terra-cotta. It makes my teeth "hurt" to touch it. :)
