Layouts and Cards by Leah and Michelle (and JustWrite Giveaway Winner!)

Finishing up JustWrite Journaling Cards week is Leah Farquharson and Michelle Lanning. Each of them created a great card and layout:

Leah says, "I love the way that The Classics line blends so well with different accents from the City Park line, only with a little bit more of a grown-up feel. Perfect for a little something to brighten a friend's day!"

"Though my year in review album is still in progress for 2010 (I'm about halfway through), I thought it would be fun to do a quick layout with my top 24 photo picks from the year. Those photos that give me that warm fuzzy feeling each time I look at them... Instead of taking forever to pick, I did a super quick scroll through the photos from each month and grabbed two. Whatever hit me in just opening up the folder. That made this layout come together quickly and easily, and left our boys peering over my shoulder at some of their favorite memories from the year!"

Michelle says, "For the base of this card I used a piece of the Dear Lizzy Enchanted Mysterious Charlotte paper. I then layered the JustWrite Journaling Tickets for dimension. The tickets are really easy to cut up and use as you like, I love that! As a finishing touch I added the butterfly Detail."

"For this layout I wanted to use the Journaling Bookplates and Bookmarks as the base of my layout. I arranged the pieces on cardstock until I was pleased with their placement and then put a little adhesive to keep them in place. I then sewed the perimeter of the layout as well as most of the bookplates and bookmarks."
