New Release: It's The Little Things

Guess what? We've got more inspiration here for you! This time our Pocket Chicks have been creating with It's The Little Things! Take a look ...

Happy by Leah Farqharson
Leah says, "One of the things I've recently reminded myself about is making sure to take the time to take care of myself - to be sure that I'm happy - because it doesn't just benefit me, it benefits our kids to see a happy, healthy, well-balanced mommy. I'll admit it - this was my favorite line to work with! The colors are some of my favorites, so it was a bit of a no brainer. I also loved working with the new filter paper product. It's absorbent enough for great inking, but it didn't tear easily, so it was really easy to work with! I love how vibrant the ink colors came out after inking as well."

Live Laugh Love by Amy Peterman
I can't get enough of this collection! The rich, sherbet tones, combined with black ... YUM! And all the little embellishments are so fun—I especially love the little definition blocks (see the SMILE definition between my two small photos?)—and versatile! I can't wait to create more with It's The Little Things!

In A Nutshell by Amy Welch
Amy says, "The possibilities with the It's The Little Things line is endless! And I want to let you know that the new die cuts in this line are the best! You are going to want to get more than one package of these! I could use the die cuts on every layout I do!!!"

It's The Little Things by Brenda Hurd
Brenda says, "My most favorite thing about this line is the soft colors, so versatile that can go with anything from a vintage layout to one like mine with my little girl enjoying ice-cream in the summertime.  The chipboard in this line is amazing, i only used a few pieces, but it's just a peak of how whimsical and fun this line is."

Charity Hassel-little things box

Little Things Gift Box by Charity Hassel
Charity explains, "The box was covered with patterned paper. I cut the scallops from the strips sheet from this line. The flower was made by stacking the filter paper embellishments and holding them together with a brad in the center.  I used watercolors to paint three of the filter papers. The dotted, flocked transparency is so pretty. I cut petals from the flocked transparency and glued them into my flower. Leaves were cut from patterned paper and the tag was added as a final touch."

Together by Guiseppa Gubler
Guiseppa says, "I really love the vintage feel of It's the Little Things. This collection is full of beautiful colors and has such a happy feel to it!"

Live Your Dream by Allison Landy
Allison says, "I love patterned papers as much as the next gal, but what really makes me giddy are the supplies that add extra texture and pizazz to my layouts. So, I may have squealed a little when I saw the coordinating flocked transparency for the It's the Little Things line. For this layout, I painted the background of the transparency with an acrylic paint and then used it like another patterned paper. I couldn't be happier with the result, and I can't wait to play more with this line!"

Pennant Banner by Vicki Chrisman
Vicki says, "I created my pennant banner pieces from an old box (one that I had just unpacked new product from actually). I put a white wash on it using acrylic paints and then highlighted some areas with chalkboard paints (which is what I added color to the Filter Paper Embellishments with). I adore all the new Fancy Pants lines ... but It's The Little Things sold my heart."

Live Laugh Love by Pamela Young
Pamela says, "I used one of the fantastic new filters and inked around it on my paper for a fun look.  I just love all these papers and I love the glitter embellishments too! I used a spray vellum adhesive to adhere the glitter cuts."

Awesome by Jen Martakis
Jen explains, "When I first opened my box of goodies ... this was the first collection that I saw. I literally gasped when I saw it. I adore the colors and I can't say enough about the extraordinary embellishments. I had such a hard time narrowing down what I wanted to use on this layout. There is so much to choose from!"

Trish Harwick_ItsTheLittleThings

You Make Me Happy by Trish Harwick
Trish says, "It truly is the little things in life that are most important; and this line is perfect for scrapping all those everyday moments. I took this photo of my daughter on a quick trip downtown. The colors were perfect with this line ... and the filters make beautiful flowers! I had so much fun misting it and then folding it all up until I got the perfect flower ... the possibilities with the filters will be endless!"

Happy by Lisa Andrews
Lisa says, "The die cuts in this line as so beautiful and there is such a variety of elements. They are perfect for clustering together as I did in a couple of places on this layout. They help a page come together quickly without a lot of fuss."

We hope you've enjoyed all of the sneak peeks and reveals this week! Be sure to keep coming back for more Fancy This projects, Pocket Chick Spotlights, Product Spotlights, Pocket Chick Picks (keep posting those layouts on our Facebook page - we might pick you next!), and maybe a few new things too, in the weeks to come!
