This challenge runs from Saturday, 5th March to Sunday, 13th March
For this challenge, you need to:
Incorporate hand or machine embroidery into a NEW project that also includes stamping. This challenge requires the use of stitching more creatively than just adding a stitched border to your card (or other project)! Check out this website for details of various embroidery stitches, images and instructions.
You may wish to add stitching to a stamped image, to pre-bought embellishments or other elements of your creation.
There will be a random draw on 14th March, for a $15 Two Peas gift certificate.
Important, to be included in the draw, you MUST do ALL of the following:
Meet the challenge instructions as stated above.
Post a photo of your completed project to the gallery.
Tick the WF11 A Stitch in Time Challenge box in Step 4 when you upload your project.
Link your gallery post to the discussion thread.
Failure to do any of the above steps will disqualify your entry from the draw.
When you tick the WF11 A Stitch in Time Challenge box, your project will automatically link to the blog post for this challenge.
Here's the discussion board post.
I have posted some older examples of my own and will add more when I get them finished! (Note that my examples all happen to be layouts, but you can create any type of stamped/stitched project you like.)
This challenge can be combined with any of the other Winterfest challenges.
You may enter this challenge as many times as you wish. Each project posted which complies with the instructions above will give you an entry into the random drawing.
