"In September of 2010, my then 4-year-old daughter Madison was playing with her etch-a-sketch and drew a T-Rex. She came and showed it to my  husband and I and we were blown away. We were so excited that she had  done this on her own and it looked so beautiful to us. This is why I titled the page 'Brilliant Artist'. She has an amazing eye for art."

Here's a little questionnaire to get to know this talented lady better:

How did you get started scrapbooking?
I wanted to do something with all the photos I took of my son besides put them in regular albums. I walked past a Creating Keepsakes Magazine in the grocery store shortly after and fell in love.

What would you say your scrapbooking “style” is?
Fun and whimiscal.

What is your favorite technique?
Stamping on anything :)

When do you find time to scrap?
These days if I am not cooking, cleaning, or taking care of the little ones I am creating something.

On average, how long does it take you to complete a project?
I am a very slow scrapper. I love to take my time and enjoy the process. I can never make up my mind where I want things on a project. So, it takes on average about 2 to 3 hours to create a project.

What is your favorite thing about American Crafts?
Oh boy, just one thing? Of course, Thickers, but I also love the fashion forward papers, the kraft paper is awesome, and the Details are to die for :) Ok so I love it all!

Tomorrow is a special day with an American Crafts blog hop in the morning and a great tutorial in the afternoon! (PS - don't forget to wear green tomorrow!)
