Have you seen our new Journal Embellishments? They're in the spotlight today and you are going to love them! Each of our four new collections has a set of these fun, colorful designs perfect for journaling and using as page accents.
Take a look at the creative ways our Pocket Chicks have used these sweet journaling pieces.
Big Dreams by Iris Babao Uy
Iris says, "I love that the journaling embellishments have been designed in such a way that it both functions as a journaling spot and as a design element as well. In this layout, I show how several journaling pieces combined with some carefully chosen chipboard makes a base for the design of the page. I also used one of the journaling cards as a frame for my picture. There is almost no patterned paper here (except for the cut-out flower at the top), but the note cards are able to provide enough visual interest to the page. The addition of dimensional embellishments such as flowers and buttons finishes the page."
Precious Moment Canvas by Lisa Saunders
Lisa says, "I have fallen completely in love with the 'it's the little things' collection. Everything is just so pretty. So for this project I wanted to make something to go on display in my home rather than a layout to be kept in an album. I want to be able to admire all the pretty things. I've selected some of the journal embellishments from this range to use on my canvas. I have hand-stitched around the edge of each one adding texture and helping them to stand out a little more. One of them has been used as a frame for my photo too. I've teamed these embellishments up with other various items from this beautiful collection."
I Am A Robot by Trish Harwick
Trish says, "As soon as I opened these cute journaling embellishments I knew I had finally found the perfect way to document my son's recent favorite catchphrase! The big robot and the conversation bubble spots were the perfect place to build the title! I dressed the robot up a little bit with some staples, a Fancy Pants button and some floss. I also used the new Fancy Pants chipboard letters and some pieces of the new 'To the Moon' collection to complete this layout!"
Follow Your Heart by Leah Farquharson
Leah says, "When I start a layout, I love looking through the journaling embellishments first thing! Some of the larger pieces are great for not just journaling, but also placing your title, adding a sentiment, or as an accent on your page!"
