Product Spotlight: Artist Edition Filter Flowers
I absolutely love the Artist Edition collection and the Filter Flowers are one of my favorite Fancy Pants products! These little papers can be scrunched, inked, stitched on and even used as journaling spots! Use them for home decor projects, cards and scrapbook pages. They are the perfect way to add a bit of texture and fun to any project!
Behind You by Janis Medina-Maghinay
Janis says, "I love that these Artist Edition Filters are durable enough to withstand misting. I used the two bigger circles as additional layers, while the two smaller ones I crumpled and turned into flowers. I also included Beach Babe Paper Flowers to act as floral centers - I love that they give an added pop of color in my misted filter flowers."
Beach Beauty by Kim Watson
Kim says, "These filters ink so well, especially if the ink has a slight shimmer. I love how I didn't loose any of the color intensity of the mists, making for a vibrant, fun sun. Before stitching the sun-swirl, I found crinkling the filters slightly gives super texture."
For You by Rachel Tucker
Rachel says, "I’ve glimmer misted the filter paper embellishments and cut them into small circles, folded them into three and created flowers from them by using a sewing machine to stitch on stalks. A cute embellishment for a card, layout or project."
Love by Rachel Tucker
Rachel says, "I’ve used the filter papers for a template by placing them on the pattern paper on the card and then using a spray paint. I have also used a filter paper to create a frill on the page by cutting the center from it gathering it under a strip of patterned paper. This is a simple way to create texture on a project."
Surf's Up by Katja Schneider
Katja says, "I was instantly in love with the Artist Edition Filters when they first arrived at my doorstep! They add so much texture to any project and they can be altered in so many ways. And best of all they can be misted, inked and painted any color you want! For my project I created a border using the 'Pinked Edge' Filters to work in with the waves from the Design Elements from the 'Beach Babe' collection."
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to upload your projects using our Filter Flowers to our Facebook Page! We can't wait to see what you create with them!
