It was so fun to read about your plans for the summer - can I come along? :) To wrap up Margarita week, Pooi and Suzy Plantamura have each created a layout and card using the Margarita line.

Pooi Supplies:  12x12 Cardstock Black (71260) - AC Cardstock, Tango Paper (35422) – Margarita,  Mambo Paper (35424) - Margarita, Santo Domingo Paper (35430) – Margarita, Acapulco Paper (35431) – Margarita, Samba Paper (35442) – Margarita,  Horchata Paper (35232) – Margarita, Paradise Paper (42197) - Remarks, Summertime (42198) – Remarks, Refreshing (42199) – Remarks, Iguana Black (53190) - Thickers

Pooi remarks, "The new Margarita collection is really bright and cheerful. The moment I received this collection, I took out all our Phuket photos immediately to scrap. The Margarita papers feature the paradise, beach umbrellas, the sea, and waves. I loved the little moments spent in Phuket and all the photos must be included in this layout. Some of the patterned papers have varnish finish, such as Horchata which featured the waves with additional texture. I also love the papers with glitter finish because of the ‘bling’ effect. Margarita is definitely perfect for all your vacation photos!"

Card Supplies: 12x12 Cardstock White (71081) – AC Cardstock, Mambo Paper (35424) - Margarita, Acapulco Paper (35431) – Margarita, Horchata Paper (35232) – Margarita, Sun-Kissed (43391) - Minimarks

"This card is made with the leftover scrap from the layout. It’s like the miniature of the layout. I simply love the waves, the beach umbrellas, and the colourful buildings by the beach. I added the title 'wish you were here' using the Minimarks rub on transfer. I really wish you were at Phuket too, it's a wonderful place to be having your sunny holidays!"

Suzy Supplies: Empanada Paper (35429) - Margarita, Calypso Paper (35433) - Margarita, Mojito Paper (35423) - Margarita, Guava Paper (35427) - Margarita, Antonio (42196) - Remarks, Iguana Azure (43192) - Thickers, Pina Colada (72013) - Delights, Flower Brads (85550) - Elements, Summertime (42198) - Remarks, Sun-Kissed (43391) - Minimarks, 4x6 Journaling Cards (64010) - JustWrite

Suzy says, "Margarita is so bright and festive which is perfect for my many beach photos. I printed several photos of my girls and their friends playing at the beach. Because they were small, I outlined them with a blue marker so they would stand out more against the busy background. I created the sun rays with the backsides of two of the patterned papers (sometimes I can’t resist those vivid solid colors on the back of many papers). Next, I added the photos to the sun rays tucking them inside different spots. Then I used zig-zag stitching along the edges of each ray. I created the water by cutting waves out of JustWrite journaling cards and layering them on the bottom of the page with some paper strips. I attached the large letter stickers to white paper and cut around the edges so they stood out better against the background. This layout just shouts summer and I can’t wait for it to be here again!!!"

Margarita Card Small
Supplies: 12x12 Pool Cardstock (71069) - AC Cardstock, Mambo Paper (35424) - Margarita, Tango Paper (35422) - Margarita, Empanada Paper (35429) - Margarita, Sangria Paper (35441) - Margarita, Cha-Cha Paper (35428) - Margarita, 4x6 Journaling Cards (64010) - JustWrite, Pina Colada (72013) - Delights, Grosgrain w/Stitches – Mint 1 (5833) - Ribbon

"I used a border punch along the edge of this card and then backed the blue dot paper with yellow dot paper that shows through. Underneath, I added a couple of borders from the patterned papers on the inside of the card. I layered other borders with ribbon and the journaling card postal stamps. I cut a circle from striped paper and layered it with a dimensional flower sticker. I LOVE all the colors in this line and they all blend so well with some of the Premium Ribbons and AC Cardstock. Margarita is so bold and colorful, that a little product goes a long way (especially when making cards!)"

Bonus: Tomorrow Ann-Marie walks us through the entire Margarita collection in another edition of Craft Room!
