Product Spotlight: Rub-ons

AmyPetermanFramed
It's Product Spotlight time again! This week we're bringing you ideas for our rub-ons from our most recent collections, including Baby Mine! Take a look...

Rubons

Charity-Welcome little one card
Welcome Little One by Charity Hassel
Charity says, "I used the pink rub-on border, from the Baby Mine rub-on set, along the bottom of my card and let the beautiful baby greeting take center stage on the top of the card."

Beach Smiles by Guiseppa Gubler
Guiseppa says, "If you are anything like me, when I first started using rub-ons, I only used them one dimensionally. Sometimes I felt like I was pretty limited as to what I could do with them. There are now so many ways to use them and so many ideas out there, but my favorite thing to do with them, is give them dimension...

Yes ... like every layout I do, I broke out the pop dots on this one. I decided to back my rub-ons on some cardstock, cut them out and pop them up. Flat pages aren't for me and I think there is a misconception that rub-ons can't be dimensional. You will find out that on my layout, I have several different dimensions. I love that I was able to create a fun scene with clusters of rub-ons from the Beach Babe rub-on set and make the layout come to life!"

Cool Like A Fool In A Pool by Kim Watson
Kim says, "I love the vibrancy of the colors as well as the fun titles included on the Beach Bum rub-on sheet ... 'Cool like a fool in the pool' was perfect for my page. I know this has nothing to do with rub-ons, but it is a handy tip anyhow :o) Notice the two pieces of patterned paper I used for my background? Well it is actually one piece of paper. Being double sided, I was able split it, turn the one piece around & stick it together for an interesting combination. It is a great way for making the most of the gorgeous patterns on the backs too."

Out of This World by Lisa Andrews
Lisa says, "The Fancy Pants rub-ons glide so easily onto my projects. Here I made a two-sided card where I used rub-ons on both sides of the card. The front side has a few rub-ons, from the To The Moon rub-on set, layered together to create a playful robot image plus a birthday message. The back side of the card has a tranparency pocket where a rub-on arrow was used above the pocket to point to the gift money."

Seaside escape
Seaside Escape by Bénédicte Raphalen
Bénédicte explains, "I decided to use the Beach Babe rub-ons. They looked so great to me that I used the whole board to embellish my layout. I chose this beautiful background from the Beach Babe collection too. I just added a few rub-ons around the photo that I superimposed or simply cut to diversify the pattern."

Thanks for visiting. Remember, we've got more Baby Mine inspiration coming your way TOMORROW!
