Product Spotlight: Oct. 31 Filter Embellishments
Happy Wednesday everyone! We're half-way through the week and that means another Product Spotlight. This week our Pocket Chicks, Pamela Young and Charity Hassel show you some great ways to use our Filter Embellishments from the Oct. 31 collection. These cool printed, die-cut shapes are made from a coffee filter-like paper, making them very fun to work with. Take a look...
Beautiful by Pamela Young
Pamela explains, "I took my three large filters and folded each in half and then in half again creating a triangle shape. Then I added them around my photo so it looked like they had made a complete circle. I stitched circles on them and then trimmed down the filters with scissors so you could see the layers. It looks like I had more filters then I had. :) I then scrunched up a small filter and kind of centered it over the large embellishment and under the photo. I also folded a small filter at the top of my page, adding stitching and buttons on top. By the way, did you notice that my layout created with the awesome halloween line has nothing to do with halloween!"
Haunted by Charity Hassel
Charity says, "Make adorable bats using your Oct. 31 filters. Fold your circle shaped filter in half. Fold pleats in the filter. Pinch up your filter and use glue dots to attach buttons down the center of the filter. Use scissors to cut your wings into the desired shape."
Cool ideas, huh? We hope you come back again tomorrow for more ideas. We have another Guest Designer visiting the blog, the lovely and talented, Jen Jockish!
