K is for...

Ready for another day in our series?  Here we go with the letter K!

We'd like you to think of this event as a library of resources, an index of inspirational stamped pieces and informative posts.  We've collected projects from the Garden Girls, your favorite brands and our special guests - each day you'll see something new from one or more of these artists, as well as exemplary projects we've collected by scouring the gallery, spotlighting how our members have applied these topics to past projects shared.  Be sure to scroll to the end of this post for a special challenge with a chance to win!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today is the letter K - where K is for KI Memories and a kissing technique!

** Kristina has arranged for a 50% off sale on KI Memories to celebrate today's letter!  See the sale here and hurry - it's today only, ending at 11:59 pm CST!

K is for KI Memories

The puffies, pockets and bright colors in KI's product line make cardmaking a breeze and add a special and unique touch to our stamped projects.  Garden Girl Shannon Tidwell kicks off today's post with this adorable safari-like card using KI:

Shannon shares, "For the background of the card I stamped a woodgrain image with Versamark ink. I placed the self adhesive Pocket on the front of the card. (the Pockets aren't going to fall off!) Next I added a label and the adorable Puffie to the front of the card. I used the packaging insert from the Puffies for my tag in the Pocket. I went ahead and adhered it with a pop-dot. A fun little Clip Art finishes it off. And of course a bit of twine."

Don't miss these other adorable stamped projects created using KI Memories:

Kissing Technique

Next up is a "kissing" technique - yep, you read that right! :)  Kissing in stamping refers to applying an uninked stamp onto an inked stamp, resulting in a stamped pattern within a shape.  Here are some projects we found in the gallery where members have used this ink.  For a lesson on this technique, check out this past class.

We hope today's projects have left you inspired!    We want to see how today's post inspired you with a special challenge!  Just use one or more of today's themes in a project and upload it by next Sunday the 23rd at 11:59 pm CST.  We will select three winner's from this week's batch of challenges - each challenge winner will receive a prize pack of goodies from our generous sponsors this week!  We will announce the challenge winners in next Monday's post.
