Holiday Card Making Week 4 Day 1

Holiday Card Making

Welcome to another week of Holiday Card Making, Peas!  For the remainder of the event we will be looking at card ideas from the Garden Girls, beginning with today's sparkle-sprinkled card from the talented Jen Gallacher!  Scroll down to read her tips also, and don't forget our Unity card challenge is open through Wednesday!

From Jen, "I love a great card base, and the Doodlebug card bases make creating a card easy! I just layered a bunch of fun holiday items on the card base to really dress it up. This card took me about 15 minutes tops. Quick and easy!"

I "shop" my stash and gather all my holiday themed and holiday colored items. Then I start putting little packs of items together until I feel inspired to start a card.

I don't really create cards in bulk. Frankly, I don't send out many cards so when I do they are unique and personal.

My favorite holiday card is always the last one I created because it typically has new product on it. I'm a sucker for new and fun products.

My sewing machine. That tool gets more use than it ever did sewing fabric.

I'm hoping Santa will hook me up with any of the following items:

Wonder Wishes Mini Album

I want to try either the new Hero Arts stamp and die cut sets or the stamp and embossing folder sets. Love the idea of a two-step process!

Thanks so much for sharing your expertise with us, Jen!  If you enjoy Jen's style and would like to see more holiday projects from her, check out her gallery here.

We'll be back tomorrow with more inspiration!  Happy Monday!
