Product Spotlight: Winterland
Brrrr, it's finally starting to feel a little more like winter here in the mid-west. Now if only we'd get some snow! I love winter. The crisp, nippy days frolicing in the snow make for wonderful cozy nights by the fireplace. Our new collection, Winterland, reminds me of all that I love about Winter. Take a look at a few creations using this delightful line.
All Bundled Up by Jodi Sanford
Jodi syas, "I love the Winterland collection...it is so beautiful, soft and pretty ... and the other thing I love, is that it can also be as fun and playful as my kids in the snow! The color pallet is softer than my images, but by highlighting some of the brighter colors in the line, it helps to tie the photos in and comes together with a fun and vibrant look!!"
1+1=2 by Jodi Sanford
Jodi says, "For this layout, I went with the more sophisticated looks of the line! I focused in on the softer colors, added more ink for distressing and the softer look came right out! I also snuck in a flashcard from our Off to School collection ...
... and the text paper is actually from our new Love Story collection, and the chipboard banners are from the Summer's End line ... so, there is definitely opportunity to change things up a bit and mix and match with the versatility of Winterland ... love it!"
Sweet Snow by Amy Peterman
When I received this collection, I immediately thought of these photos. What is more wintery than a big ol' bite of snow? Mmmm... Brrrr! I love the soft tones in this collection and the pretty snowflake patterns throughout.
Baby It's Cold Outside by Lisa Tenney
Lisa says, "I just love the soft colors of the Winterland line! These papers were perfect for these cute pictures of my granddaughter in the little sweater and hat set I crocheted for her! I used a spray mist to color the Artist's Edition filter embellishments, then folded and cut some fun snowflakes to add some dimension to my layout...
I punched out a scalloped circle for the center of each of my snowflakes, from the Warm Mitten paper, backed them with punched brown circles and added some buttons. I also added in the crocheted lace trim from the Lilac House line to tie in the crochet theme and added my journaling in waves to make it look like the words were blowing on a blustery day!"
