Quilt Inspired Layout and Card by Suzy Plantamura
A big round of applause to the randomly selected winner of all the current patterned papers, Erica Hettwer:
Suzy Plantamura has a final quilt-inspired layout and card:
My Beautiful Girl by Suzy Plantamura
For this layout, I cut a 9” square out of a piece of patterned paper. I lined the outside edge of that paper with Mixtape and folded it to the backside. For the inside of the paper, I attached some floral ribbon. I then cut five 3” squares out of patterned paper. I created a petal pattern on a scratch paper square by dividing the square into four small squares and then cutting one of them into a petal shape. I traced around that shape four times on each of the 3” squares (after creating a grid of four smaller squares on them with pencil). I attached my patterned paper 12” piece to a piece of white cardstock and drew nine 3” squares into the center with a pencil. I then used my petals inside five of these to create a quilted look and added photos into the other four. I stitched around the edges of each with straight stitch and then added some zig zag stitching between all the squares.

Thank You Card by Suzy Plantamura
I used the same four petal flower design on a card as well. I layered three strips of ribbon under the “flower” and then used a Flair badge in the center of the flower as the greeting. I used the new Knock Outs punch set along the bottom edge of the card.
Supplies: Carnation Corner Paper (35538) - Garden Café, Joyful Day Paper (35603) - Daydreams, Delish (70073) - Flair, Garden Café (89416) - Boxed Ribbon, Open Scallop (63008) - Knock Outs
Have a great weekend and we'll be back again with another exciting theme on Monday!
