Lately I've been reaching for more muted patterned papers for my backgrounds...this time I tried to push myself a little and went with a bright yellow background. It has a light chevron pattern that keeps it from being too overwhelming for the photos. Had it been a busy pattern I don't think it would have worked. Weekly Photography Challenge: Outdoors with Wilna

From Wilna, "I don't know about you, but in the cold months I don't take as many pictures than in the warmer months... simply because inside light is not as natural and pretty as outside light! 
So, today my challenge is to go outside and take some pictures! this time of the year there are puddles and blooms and lots of things to document!  I can't wait to see what you do! "

Saturday Card Sketch with Kimber

From Kimber, "I just received my latest purchase from Two Peas and I couldn't wait to dive in. I love these tags from Basic Grey and they are perfect for cards. Of course I am trying to use more washi tape in my cards since I couldn't resist buying them. You could easily use strips of pattern paper, cardstock or ribbon where I used washi tape with this sketch."
