What to do with an oversized chipboard boat?

Was the question I was pondering... I bought a Valentine's grab bag at Michaels and it had oversized palm trees and boats.  They have sat on my desk for a long time because I wanted to challenge myself to put it on a layout.  So, today, with a few minutes to myself, I tackled the oversized chipboard boat.

I distressed it......

I stamped it.....

Added ribbon, brad and twine....

And I put it on a layout!

It is for my son's scrapbook.  And of course after I took the picture and uploaded it, I notice that a bingo chip is falling off.  Hehe...I need to glue it back.  One more layout down.  Since I have 4 more ships and three more palm trees...I guess I need to make this same layout for each of my kids' scrapbooks and myself.  That is one way to get rid of an oversized chipboard boat from your desk.

Happy Wednesday.

Awesome, Thanks for the inspiration. I love how you embellished/altered the boat. It would look great on a card too!
