Supplies: Six by Six 2- “Happy Day” pad, The Sweetest
Thing-Honey: enamel dots and decorative tape; The Sweetest Thing-Bluebell: decorative tape, title; The Sweetest Thing- Lavender:
decorative tape.Misc: white, blue, and yellow cardstock, pink machine
thread, 1 1/2” circle punch, black ink and pen.
Tamara says: I really enjoyed creating this layout. It gave me an opportunity
to simplify my materials and think a little out of the box. Who knew
that just 3 patterned papers (not including the cardstock) and three tapes could be so versatile?
I used double-sided papers from the Six by Six 2 “Happy Day” Pad.
I really liked how well
the smaller patterns worked with the circle punch. I embellished the
page by layering different decorative tapes (LOVE the date label
tape!) and a row of the fabulous new enamel dots.
I'm I am a big fan of how the bright colors and fun patterns of the papers capture the bright
spirit of our day at Disneyland – the “Happiest Place on Earth”. It is also no coincidence that the circles echo the shape of the girls’ Mickey ears!
