Beautiful Event, Beautiful Ladies in a Beautiful Country!
Hello everyone! Waving happily at you from a most 'brilliant' country - England/United Kingdom/Great Britain! This past weekend I wrapped up my classes at the fabulous Creative heART and Soul Event in Coventry, England ... what a blast! The group of ladies were so much fun to teach—well, actually, visit with as they were all so talented they simply followed the instructions and required very little of me ... so, I was able to chat all the while 'helping' them with our mini album and layout that I shared with you last week!
Feeling really blessed to have been a part of such a wonderful event and to be a part of a worldwide group that loves the same hobby that I do! We had a lot of fun creating a super fun mini book and a layout class! My project images were left at home, so I'll be sure to show you more of that class coming soon! In the meantime—here I've compiled a little look at the beautiful location and the beautiful people in attendance below—and my reminder of how and why I need to keep my passion for scrapbooking alive:
Sunday morning's frost ... this image when I woke up was exactly what I thought England would look like! So happy I had my camera handy!
This is the beautiful location of the event: Ansty Hall in Coventry, England—and I was fortunate enough to bring along my daughter, Abbi (that little speck on the front step :)), to see what Mom does on these kinds of trips! She even stuck it out late on Saturday night helping me with the make and takes!
Debbie and Tracie were so kind to invite me out to the event and take such good care of us (my Mom and Dad came along, too :)!) They truly love doing these and it shows! So impressed and loved every minute of it!
These last images are the fine groups of ladies that I was fortunate enough to "teach"—those that would pose for a picture I should say ;)! They were amazing, talented and just plain fun! Thanks to everyone for such a fabulous time! I hope I'll be able to return again some day!
