I think tags are one of the most underrated, yet versatile, embellishments available. I was inspired by a recent Creating Keepsakes article on using tags, and was reminded that in digital scrapbooking, we can use tags with endless variations! (We are so lucky!)
So, this is Liz Jutila (the newest member of the 2Peas CT), and my challenge to you is that you must use at least one tag on a lo, BUT, you must make it your own! You can create your tag using the marquee or shape tool, or you can use an existing tag and write on it, embellish it, or use it as a mask. You are welcome to use multiple tags, of any shape.
Submit a lo by November 7, 2012 using at least one tag that you’ve customized to make your own, and you will be entered in a drawing to win a $5 2Peas gift cert! Woo hoo! Use whatever products you want (but, it would be kinda cool to see 2Peas products used). Be sure to check the challenge box when you load your lo!
In my sample I used three tags: one tag was re-colored to match the lo, another tag was used to house text, and the last tag (my favorite) was used as a mask to turn the journal card into a tag! Check out Baers Garten The Voices of Color: Orange kit, and Chrissy W.'s mixin-it-up-10 template, Dianne Rigdon Fastenation date, New Day tag and string, Jen Martakis Watercolors pp, and Edeline Marta Best of Friends heart for most of the supplies used on this page.
So what are you waiting for? Tag it!
