In Your Face

My son's girlfriend has a very expressive face, which makes her fun to photograph. Last night the two of them were having a discussion of where to go to for dinner, on her birthday and I snapped some photos, during the conversation. My son is not nearly as photogenic, or interesting a subject, most of the time but, I did get a fun one of him too. I shot these with a 200mm lens so, while they were aware that I was taking the occasional picture, I was down the hall a bit and not right in their faces.

I got a few funnier pictures of her too but since I'd like to remain on friendly terms I'm not going to post them on any internet board.

and you were "allowed" to post them. I have one kid who is okay with my posting pictures, another who would flip out over it. Loads of expressions in these to be sure.

They are not usually upset with me posting their pictures although I do try to weed out any very weird or unflattering ones of her before posting. We went on vacation together this summer and she was always hamming it up and making strange faces for the camera. And many of those pictures made it to their face book pages so I don't think she is too self conscious about looking funny.

She is a real cutie! Love that second one - says a lot just in her expression.
