My new lens arrived yesterday so, sadly, did a really bad cold or the flu so I have been taking shots looking out, from inside the house only, so far. The overcast skies and ongoing snow flurries may not have helped the cause.

I can see that this new lens is going to take  some practice and getting used to, in order to get the most out of it but here are a  few beginning attempt shots I took with it.
