Take Flight 20 – Day 2, Clean and Simple Stamping

Take Flight Twenty Penny Black
Penny Black designer Heather Telford elevates her clean and simple designs (here, two cards using Every Happiness) with beautiful and oh-so-easy techniques like emboss resist and watercoloring with markers. What’s your favorite?

Heather says, “The red toned card is a one layer card with the blossom image embossed three times in a row and then masked as shown. I sponged Memento inks Angel Pink, Lady Bug and Rhubarb Stalk over the embossed images and then removed the post-it notes and added the sentiment.”

“The green toned card features three panels inked first with Memento New Sprout ink to which I added Memento Pear Tart and Memento Bamboo Leaves using markers. I then spritzed the stamp with water before stamping on white card. The three panels are popped up on dimensional tape.”
