Penny Black designer Heather Telford
elevates her clean and simple designs (here, two cards using Every Happiness
) with beautiful and oh-so-easy techniques like emboss resist and watercoloring with markers. What’s your favorite?
Heather says, “The red toned card is a one layer card with the blossom image embossed three times in a row and then masked as shown. I sponged Memento inks Angel Pink, Lady Bug and Rhubarb Stalk over the embossed images and then removed the post-it notes and added the sentiment.”
“The green toned card features three panels inked first with Memento New Sprout ink to which I added Memento Pear Tart and Memento Bamboo Leaves using markers. I then spritzed the stamp with water before stamping on white card. The three panels are popped up on dimensional tape.”
