WF'13 Painted Puzzlers

Here's my challenge for Winterfest 2013!!!

For my painted puzzlers, I challenge you to create a background using either a background stamp or you could use a smaller stamp(s) as well.

First you will either need to stamp a large background stamp or create a background using smaller stamps. Color your background however you would like. Once it's finished, cut your background into pieces.

Next, assembled your pieces onto your card, tag, whatever type of project you want to make. Leave a small spacing between the pieces.

Once your pieces are assembled, stamp a focal image with acrylic paint. You can either stamp it directly onto your project or onto a seperate surface and adhere it to your project.

Some painting tips: Apply a thin coat of paint to your image. It's usually best to test it first before applying it to your project. I always wash my stamps off immediately so that it's easier to get the paint off of the stamp. I've also found that clear stamps work better for me than red rubber stamps when using paint. Don't let this discourage you from using red rubber if that's what you want to use.

You can combine this with any other challenge.

Your project can be anything. A card, ATC, layout, tag, etc.

Stamping must be on your project.

I made a card using this technique as an example that I will link in the thread, I kept ketting an error message when trying to link it here.

Have fun! Can't wait to see what you create!
