Reflections of Winter

All the snow from the big storm last Friday is starting to melt slowly as temperatures rise during the day and then everythig refreeezes overnight. this is a shot from the end of my driveway.

Here is another which I call 'Studies in Slush' that brown colour is becoming predominant, around here, as the sparkley and pristine looking snow of a few days age degrades into muddy slush.

Even you brown slush has an elegant appeal to it - the reflection helps a lot!

Really like the texture the melting slush/ice gives in that second shot. I never turn down a good reflection!

There is something magical about freshly fallen snow and all insults, whether by footprints or melting, immediately diminishes it's character to at best, abysmal.

I think you have captured some artistic reflections and interesting abstracts in your shots.

This is beautiful, but I'd rather enjoy it in pictures than in person . . .
