Blues and purples; the colors of blue skies and sweet lilacs. The last hues we'll be admiring as we near the end of our month of color. Here's how the Garden Girls used them:
Blue Skies by Kristina Nicolai-White
Kristina plays with a gradient of aqua blue by handcutting arrowheads. This big-impact design not only leads your eye to her focal point, but imitates the sky in her photo. Brads, wood veneer and tiny arrows make the page complete.
St. Thomas by Nancy Damiano
Nancy pooled together her supplies in blue and filled each oval in her die-cut background with bits of fun. Notice she's used her enlarged photo almost like another piece of paper; it is the foundation for her title, another photo and additional accents.
Hello Today by Céline Navarro
Céline uses a complimentary color scheme by bringing in bits of gold and yellow to balance her use of purple. We love the variety of patterns and the neutrals mixed in here.
