WF14 Cheat Sheet

WF14 Challenge Cheat Sheet

Challenge titles with a (Y) after them may be combined with other challenges. Those with a (N) may not be combined with others.

A Little of This and a Little of That: (Y) Create a mixed media work of art using at least two stamps, one of which should be an image. Your second stamp can be a different image and/or a sentiment or phrase. You may use any type of stamp, including digital stamped images and sentiments. Choose at least three mediums from the list on the thread to create your work of art. Your work of art can be anything, a card, scrapbook layout, mini album, altered art, canvas art, etc. (May only be combined with one other challenge)

Color Me This: (Y) Stamp the same image two times and then colour them using different  methods.

Embellish This: (Y)  Create a new project that incorporates at 4 different embellishments. See challenge blog for list of items that count for this challenge. Project must contain at least one image stamp (non sentiment).                         Host: Craft Nerd

Five In One: (N) Create a new project (preferably a card) using 5 stamps.
Host: lickeyan

Get Glitzy: (Y) Create a new project using glitter glue or loose glitter—glitter must be obvious.   Use at least one stamped image (not just a sentiment) and at least two embellishments.
Host: stampwilly

In a Manner of Speaking: (Y) Make a new and finished product using at least one speech bubble. Use at least one stamped image or sentiment, either or both are fine.

Key to my Heart: (N) Create a card that incorporates an old key, a stamped image of a key, and a stamped image of heart.  Use the phrase "Key to My Heart" as your inspiration for this card.

Mask Your Stamp: (Y) Make a project that uses just a portion of a stamp, using the technique of masking your stamp.  I prefer you mask a background or image stamp rather than a text only sentiment stamp for this challenge. If you want an extra challenge, why not do both an image and a sentiment? (not required).

NSPIRD: (N) Review the 2Peas stamping gallery and find two different cards/projects with elements that inspire you. Use the inspiration to create a new project in your own style.                                                                                      Host: Far North

Nothing to Sneeze At: (Y) Using either a white cloth handkerchief or white cloth square (minimum size 8"), you will use your stamp(s) to create a project. Coloring images is optional & projects do not need to be washable. The majority of your 'hanky' design must be stamping, but you are free to add non-stamped accents &/or employ stencils along with your stamping.

Paint Brush Challenge: (Y) Create a new project that includes at least one stamped image and the colors from the color palette shown.

Stamping in the Round: (Y) Create a new card, layout, or tag. Project must include image stamping. Stamped image shape must be in a circle.

Stencil Me In: (Y) Make a new project of your choice using one or more stencils. Project must include at least one stamped image (not just a sentiment).

Tish-Text Challenge: (Y) This challenge is to use the Textured Pearls Technique to create a piece and to use it to make a card.  It can be the background, or you can use it in another way; for example, you could die cut your focal image from it.  It needs to be a prominent part of your design.

To All the Techniques I’ve Loved Before: (Y) Pick a technique based challenge for a prior fest and create a new project incorporating that technique.
Each entry must have at least one image stamp (i.e. anything other than a sentiment).
You cannot use a technique challenge from WF14 to count as the technique for this challenge.  But feel free to combine an old technique challenge with one of the ones from WF14.

Wet n Wild: (Y) Wet a piece of cardstock or watercolor paper. Stamp your line image with an ink that is not waterproof. Let the paper dry. Reink your stamp (same color or new color) and stamp it over the blurry image.
