Back in September of 2004,  My family was camping with some family and friends.  One of my cousins and I have always shared the love of scrapbooking, so it was no surprise that we ended up on that topic one night around the fire.   She asked me "Have you been to 2peas yet?"    Well, this little tidbit of info got scribbled onto a paper napkin and when I got home, I logged onto my computer....and my scrapping life changed, forever.

I couldn't believe this website.  How it drew me in.  How many women were here that loved the same things I did.   How much information there was and how much creativity.  How much product  there was available... and direction!   I found myself checking in more and more and more...every day!   I was hooked.    

Then I mustered up the courage to post myself.   First a layout....and then on a message board...and people answered back!  I was shocked!  This was all so new to me.    I began praising and posting and sharing more and more.  And I found myself  making friends.   Real friends.  Some,  that I have met in person and some, I just can't wait to.   We have so much in common and still keep in touch just about every day.  Either here at 2 peas,  via our blogs (which were also inspired by our 2 pea connections) or, now, on facebook..... everyday!

Besides all the amazing and talented friends I have met here on 2peas,  I am most amazed at how my scrapbook work has gotten noticed.   I know I would not have had my work published in many magazines (including a cover!),  been asked to design for manufacturers & kit clubs,  or guest design for many websites, if it weren't for 2peas.   My gallery is here.  This is where I can freely direct people or companies to view "my work".  I am proud to send them here and I am proud to be here.
