Two Peas: My Source of Inspiration

I consider myself a truly creative person.  I feel as if I need to create in order to survive everyday life.  Despite being a lifelong paper scrapbooker, I started designing digital scrapbooking products about two years ago when my full time day job wasn’t providing me with a source for a creative outlet I had dreamed of during my studies in college.

I nearly converted completely to digital after I started to design.  But something in me continuously yearned for the time and energy to go back to paper days that weren’t so far behind me.  Besides which, I never got rid of all my supplies. (Get rid of it all?  Are you mad?!)  It all stared me in the face everyday though I lacked the inspiration to create.

I don’t remember how I discovered Two Peas in a Bucket not so long ago, perhaps from an ad in a scrapbooking magazine, but I know I was instantly hooked from the first time I visited.  Two Peas gave me the inspiration I needed to paper scrap again and relit the fire inside me to make “time to paper scrap” a priority in my life.  Furthermore, it made me set new creative standards for myself, to reach higher, dream further.

Though I need to remind myself over and over again to make time for my healthy addiction to scrapbooking that offers me pure joy few other things in life can provide, I never need to look further than Two Peas for my flame to continue to burn.  I’m inspired by Two Peas on a daily basis whether it’s from a glance at the message boards, from browsing the many talented scrapbookers’ galleries, or merely going through the shop to see the latest and greatest products on the market.

My story’s not incredible – I didn’t meet my best friend on the forums at Two Peas or get through a tragic time in my life thanks to the comments of those who read and commented on journaling on my layouts.  However, my story is nonetheless as heartwarming, important and sincere.  I thank Two Peas for its existence – being there, being invigorating, being a constant source of a smile in my everyday life, and being one of the most inspirational websites in the scrapbooking community that incessantly reenergizes this creative person to simply continue to create.
