For this medallion, I'm getting into the Halloween spirit. This takes 3 12"x2" strips. Details and more pictures (with the requisite black cat) are
HERE.

OK, the patriotic stars were winning, but the witchy is my new favorite!

Thank you so much for sharing these! (and now I understand the scoring board a little better too, LOL)

When you say it takes 3 12" strips, do you mean that the medallion itself is actually 36 inches of folded paper that is 2" wide? That's a lot of folding!!

Absolutely beautiful!! Looking for your medallions each day is the first thing I do when I get on TwoPeas.

OK the stuff you are finding for the centers of these are awesome!

If you still have the package of the rubons could you tell me what collection(set? maybe number even?) these are. I tried doing a google search for them and can't find them. I have the manuf but they make a LOT of product LOL

The rub-on in the center of the medallion is by Royal & Langnickel and there are three different ones in the package. The stock #ROY1626GH "Spooky Magic Spell Glitter" and the ISBN 090672276896. I bought these at Michaels from their center Halloween displays...not in the scrapbooking area. I just searched online for you and I found some HERE. I have no idea what this company is like, but it will get you started.

Exactly...but it's not hard to do...very quick and easy. I use the Martha Stewart scoring board and just quickly score evenly spaced lines...maybe takes 30 seconds to 1 min. to score each 12" section, then fold and glue to the other sections. I haven't timed the whole process, but I don't think the folding and gluing part is more than 5 min. What really takes the time is deciding what I want to make and choosing the elements for it.

Brilliant!
Thank You!
Due in part to your examples, and some shown by Anna Griffin on her last HSN visit, I made my first medallion yesterday. For a Fourth of July layout. Very happy with the results. Thanks again!

I've been thinking about using all kinds of things for the centers--flowers, shapes, flower soft for snowflakes, glitter snowflakes, Big Sister, Little Sister/Big Brother/Little Brother pins (though I don't know how that would work--I'd hate to sell one and have a kid get poked with the pin!
