It has been TRULY AMAZING! I'll detail it out on the keyboard at home. It's late and I should get some sleep!

What a day! I just got home! After the retreat concluded, I drove about an hour to Allison and Mike's so that we could take Drew and Jackson to the pumpkin patch. About five minutes from their house, I realized that I had left my computer in my hotel room back in Branson.

So we went ahead and made our pumpkin patch visit, then I had to drive back to Branson to get the computer, then drive almost two hours to get home. Not exactly the way I intended to spend my afternoon!

Hope everyone else has made it safely home by now and hasn't made any crazy detours like I have!

Oh, dang!!! Sorry Debbie

The retreat was a blast. If you can beg, borrow, or steal (ok, not steal) get yourself to a SG retreat. It was a blast! Got to meet lots of new folks, connect with Pennyscraps (and Mom) again and get some scrapping done.

You girls will be happy to hear that Mr. Coach was not impressive today, I didn't spend a dime there. I did buy a new coat and dress pants for work.

Such a fun weekend and to everyone else you are warned....there's a certain mother daughter team of peas in springfield that are n.u.t.s. Of course i got seated by them... Crazy, just crazy I tell ya! Toooooo funny!!! {waves wildly}

Home also! Chicago skyline never looked so good after that drive! Had a blast meeting everyone and got some scrappy stuff done, including the most adorable mini book ever. Just sorry I had to leave early. Here's to next time!

Janet, here's my promised review:

6 door prizes to each of us just for going, 7 if you count the cute cup with SG on it, 8 if you count the little box packed with snacks. A mini album, 2 MME paper packs, 1 6x6 paper pad, 1 bin of buttons and 1 bag containing papers and sketches for TWO double LO's, using Bo Bunny's summer 2010 paper. THIS WAS AMAZING IN AND OF ITSELF. Every time we came back in from a meal or to start the day we had a lovey in our chair!!

Complete 6 foot table to yourself.

Amazing array of products at their on-site store. I spent 4 weeks' worth of my scrappy budget there. Got some FUN stuff!!! So nice to be able to run get whatever you needed for a layout. Friday every time you walked up there, they put out something new!! Loved coming home with an unsealed pack of 25 sheets of Bazzill French Vanilla! Debbie was wonderful to dig out a pack of it for me so I could have 25 pristine sheets!

FOOD NON-STOP. I AM NOT KIDDING. I NEVER EVEN FOUND MY HUNGER. Two big snack buffets in between meals and there were snacks out all day long. They just broke out EXTRA SPECIAL snacks for the buffet. The catered meals were so tasty. Nice deli sandwiches on Saturday lunch, BBQ sandwiches Friday night, grilled chicken on Saturday night. Really GREAT food. And I gained weight. Boo. Hiss.

The hotel facility in and of itself was very nice - extremely well-kept and maintained, fresh looking furnishings everywhere, an incredibly comfortable mattress and free wi-fi everywhere. They had a complimentary breakfast buffet and I was a good girl and ate my biscuit and gravy every day. They had healthy stuff, too, but that is one of my kryptonites. And the staff! The housekeepers SMILED AT YOU AND SPOKE! The maintenance men were always bustling around working and seemed happy. The manager was there some every day and actually touched base with her customers at the front desk. Very proficient and professional staff. Truly a great facility. And I loved hearing the Silver Dollar City train whistle from my room.

Great group of croppers - no squeaky wheels, no drama, no catting around - lots of fun talking at normal levels and cordial mingling. Made some great new friends and was blessed so to be there.

Fun contests and games and giveaways. They had 10 prizes you could win tickets for and put in for a chance to win. The giveaways just never stopped! Karin and Debbie were warm and accommodating and conversive and interested - such a treat to be around store owners that enjoy you and want you there and are just all the time friendly!!

Truly an amazing, lifetime memory trip!!! I have been to CKU, Creative Escape, a scrapping cruise, Great American Scrapbook Convention and countless local crops and retreats in all the cities I've lived in. This was truly TOP RATE, BEST IN CLASS.

WAY TO GO SG - YOU ROCKED IT AGAIN!! THANKS FOR AN AMAZING WEEKEND!

Bonus - fall color in the Ozarks!!

Yes, that is me...in my Texas Rangers blue PJs no less.

This was 2nd place category and I placed in "best overall", which was your chance to submit any work. I was actually also honored to place First in Celebrations category...it was my LO of my son's birthday using Simple Stories Happy Day.
