Just got my Cameo and am really frustrated. When I load mat it slides all over the place while cutting. Once or twice it's worked correctly, but I'm loading it the same way every time, so I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm using 12 x12 paper. About ready to send this thing back!!! I was hoping it would be a little easier to figure out. Any ideas?

Oh this happened to me trial and error. What you need to do is move your paper roller. See page 8. See that yours looks like the photo. Stay calm and carry on...you will love it soon. Come back we are here to help, one pea at a time.

Check you haven't left any packing tape on the blade carriage or strip. There is a lot of packing tape attached to the cameo when its packed.
Other than that check the rollers are in the correct place and also that the clip is down on the right hand side of the cameo so the roller bar is not in a lifted position.

I'm having the same problem and have checked my rollers and any packaging tape...still having the problem. So frustrated!!

The blue lever on the right hand side needs to be facing up. If yours is facing forward then that is the problem. The roller isn't secured.
I hope you get it worked out soon...I love my Cameo!

Hopefully there is a YouTube video showing you how to load. The rollers must line up with the edges of the mat.

I was having the same problem.....then realized I had unlocked the rollers!! Try moving the blue lever on the right hand side and lock the roller. See if that helps!!
I am LOVING the Cameo!! Its by far working out better than the Cricut did for me!!

Actually I called Silhouette and got a very nice guy that walked me through it. If you are using 12x12 paper, the edge should fit exactly to the END of each roller. Once I lined it up that way, it cut perfectly. So far all I've done is cut out fonts for titles. I still have to learn how to do all the other stuff. There is so much you can do with Cameo and for someone who's never had a cutting machine, it's a bit overwhelming. But I feel encouraged!!
