Ancient Ancestor of Pea

I'm just starting to use my Silhouette subscription so I don't have many designs yet, but I want to figure out the best way to organize them before I do. If you have a number of designs, do you set up folders in your library or just rely on the search feature? If you do have folders, are they just general categories like tags, or specific themes, or do you organize by designer? Would love to hear about everyone's systems for keeping track of their designs and finding them easily! Thanks!

I do -
I organize them into the ways I would look for them... Like, Haloween, Project Life, Titles... ETC.

I do, I have a ton of folders. I have a print and cut and a sketch folder where all files of those types go into no matter which other folder they would fit in, this just makes it easier for me. Then I have Echo Park where all of these files go.
Then, flowers & nature, baby and kids, holiday, travel, sports & hobbies, Titles, stuff like this that works for me.

No, because I can just put in a search for what I need in the search box.

I do because it's easier for me to find what I'm looking for. Sometimes when I do a search, not everything comes up so I like to have my designs organized in folders as a back up. For example yesterday I was looking for a number border but when I did a search for number and another for border, what I was looking for didn't come up even though I knew I had it. I found it because I looked in the folder where I thought it would be! So my logic for using folders is because it does help me find what I've got. And I did delete them not too long ago because I thought they weren't worthwhile... That lasted for about a week before I recreated them!
